at thread uniform. Think i just heard my sewing machine explode in protest over that one Am ordering new one next week. Have been saving for 4 years for that so it will be lovely to get it. It will be amasing to have a reverse function and not have to service it every hour and half.

Green material it is and if i have enough i have a blue tartan bit of material that i was thinking would work. I was bought for a skirt but am more likely to use it in pini form.

Going to put clean bedding on bed and go to sleep. Have seen far to little of that this weekend.

Thanks Shiney, I did think it was in the childrens best interests to see their dad whenever they wanted - he adores them and it is breaking his heart that he has to wait for the children to phone him now, although my nephew phones him every morning and last thing at night. She is moving them away from him too.... but he is upping sticks and moving to the next village where they will be. How stupid is she to move my niece who is in Yr9 of secondary school from all her friends and in the middle of choosing options at school.

DEM - i actually quite like both fabrics. With the curtainy one, you could just use it for pockets on a plain fabric iyswim? My sewing machine is about 40yrs old and i nearly cried when it broke last year. Very nice man fixed it for £60 though I am desperate to get sewing again (been too busy) and DH got me a dress form for my birthday.

I feel poorly this morning was having to eat strepsils through the night because my throat was so sore (hate to think what they've done to my teeth!) but on the plus side, this morning i weighed myself and i am 9st12 yay!!

For breakfast i had a lemsip and a slice of toast with real butter (not that i can taste it)

Trills - this has crept up on me tbh, DD and Dh were feeling crappy last week, but i thought i would be fine, but now i am full of cold, but during the day not too bad

Well it's not a Mars Bar - it's prawn crackers from the takeaway I had last night. I just can't leave them sitting there all uneaten.
