I am at TWC profile page

TrillianSlasher · 16/10/2009 16:53

I think you need a nice big hat to cover you up TWC.

TrillianSlasher · 16/10/2009 17:08

What is the UK's favourite flavour of crisps?

Cheese and onion. According to a survey by Kettle Chips nearly half of UK adults will put up with onion breath and choose cheese and onion crisps over any other flavour.

TheMitsubishiWarrioress · 16/10/2009 17:09

Also at the furore that TWC is causing elsewhere on the threads, might be the MN mascot let alone this thread mascot.

TheMitsubishiWarrioress · 16/10/2009 17:11

trill.....

TrillianSlasher · 16/10/2009 17:20

Just a random fact, thought you might appreciate it. The thread was quiet.

I think it's ridiculous any way. Salt and Vinegar is the best normal crisps flavour, and Sweet Chilli the best special flavour.

hellsbelles · 16/10/2009 17:36

shiney - that's great that you actually find out tonight. Very exciting.

hellsbelles · 16/10/2009 17:38

our babysitter can't do tonight so DH suggested I go out. Very kind but I guess fair as he is always going out! But he just said - 'it's a pretty grotty place - no need to dress up' - you can just go like that' - nodding at my baggy top and gap trousers!

I think I shall make some effort despite that - I've already fished out my spanx so I can at least give the impression I have a flat stomach!

TrillianSlasher · 16/10/2009 17:39

I don't think men always understand that just cos you can go like that doesn't mean you want to.

TheMitsubishiWarrioress · 16/10/2009 18:11

The DC's Dad announced he was coming down to babysit tonight by way of an apology for being unreasonable the other night, but I really don't feel up to it. When I cough I get pains in the back of my ribcage and I always get really paranoid about passing germs on.

hellsbelles · 16/10/2009 18:30

that's true trills!

TMW - that sounds really really horrid. Why don't you use the time to just veg out so you can get properly better?

Right - spanx have worked wonders - if you squint and if they have forgiving lighting I'm actually passable. Quite excited as lots of my old gang are there...but as still BF on the morning feed I shall have to behave

DevilsEnticeMadness · 16/10/2009 18:35

TMW- if you have a really painful chest and coughing up blood you probably have a chest infection and NEED to get checked out by doc. It could end up and pneumonia and this really would not be a good thing ! GET CHECKED OUT ASAP! go woman! Take the babysitting and get yourself sorted.

TheMitsubishiWarrioress · 16/10/2009 18:46

I am going to sort the window display out tonight so I don't have to take DD, and then I am going to bed.

Thanks. The docs will have to wait till monday unless I decline further, it is easier to see the queen around here. The out of hours doc is miles away and not easy to get to.

I am so cold it is silly.

Had lots of laughs on here today though!
It is probably goodnight from me so have fun.

Oh, and is BoF OK? I seem to remember her going to bed the other day and can't recall seein her since.

DevilsEnticeMadness · 16/10/2009 18:53

Right i am going to grab some tea and see about catching up on sleep. As i have been up since 6am yesterday morning i think i deserved an early night.

Just for the record - ate an extra meal (1 sandwich) and most of a tub of B&J's cookie dough. The rest is in the freezer and not in the mood to eat it. What was left of the mince pies have gone. Bake potatoe and cheese for tea tonight.
Have fun tonight. loving the hats !
Off to bed hopefully soon. Just 2 more essays to write over the weekend. It can and will be done. Decided to buy a macbook during half term. !

TrillianSlasher · 16/10/2009 18:57

Ooh, macbook, that's the pretty ones.

DP is just on his way home from work, I will have to disappear and be nice to him when he gets back.

Lizzylou · 16/10/2009 19:08

Oh at TWC's profile!

Bella, your car will be here soon, but grrr at bloody people who take your money and promise things they can't deliver.

TMW, are you going to go out? Hope you feel better

Helles, have a great night, don't get too drunk if you've got spanx on

DEM, your fall off the wagon sounds delish, hope you get some sleep and get your essays done

bellavita · 16/10/2009 19:16

Mitts, hope you feel better soon

Where is our leader? No news good news?

Some twerp at DH's Head Office thought our share form was for all the share save schemes that were coming to fruition this month (we are not selling ours but sitting on those shares) so our form got lost in that pile of paperwork. Trading on selling is only done on a Monday morning - has to go to the board of directors to be agreed then they are sold. So our form did not get dealt with. I was soooo mad because the price was really good. DH I knew was not happy, but he is more laid back than I am. But hey guess what, the shares have shot up even more and we will get a lot more money on Monday when they are sold. . I asked DH if I could now have my diamond earings that are actually promised for our 25th anniversary in a couple of years. He said how much... I said oh £500 ish, he said, well maybe you will have to do without your boots then.... I thought he would say no! Bless him, he is so giving and never complains. Gwan, tell me I am spoilt.

bellavita · 16/10/2009 19:19

Hello Lizzy and everyone else I haven't spoken to for while.

Hells, have a super dooper night out.
