Watched Embarasing Bodies last night. Who has DANGLY FANJO LIPS?

After watching that I now think i have a wierd vulva.
The lady that had the extra skin on her inner lips. The doctor said that they were not normal. Not in so many words but she said that they could be treated by a cosmetic surgeon.
And when the lady stood up and you could see that they protruded down from her outer lips. The doctor said that you wouldn't be able to see them normally.
Well my innner lips come down lower than the outer ones. I'm sure some other peoples must do too.
I have always been slightly worried/embarrased by them but I read in a problem page once, years ago, that this is normal. Some inner lips show, or hang down(that sounds yuk, they're not by my knees) whatever, others dont.

So do your inner fanjo lips hand down??

I think this is pretty normal really
And I also think having cosmetic surgery to correct it, with all the risks of scar tissue and poor healing, is not an ideal solution
Plus, do we think with current NHS rationing, that this is money well spent?
It makes me cross actually, this idea of perfection everywhere, look at most women when they are dressing in the gym, they are all range of shapes and sizes

I'm always amazed that anyone takes THAT much notice of their fanjo!? We seem to accept that penises look different so I think blokes accept that fanjos are different... do they even care when they are close enough to get a good view???

you know what I found odd? I only watched a bit, that lady with the skin tag... She said it had ruined her life, knocked her confidence and she had been unable to have a relationship because she was so embarrassed about it...yet she was happy to have her arse cheeks parted on national tv and a camera aimed right up her arsehole.

I was very suprised that this doctor said to the lady that it was unusual and not normal. I was in tears. From what I've heard, the only reason you might NEED (rather than want) surgery for large muff curtains is if they make you uncomfortable when cycling/wearing jeans etc.

If they aren't bothering you and your other half likes what he sees (and even if he doesn't, frankly) embrace what you've got- it's very common. Not very good advice form that doctor if you ask me, goes against everything I've read on the subject, ever.
