Glad you got sorted with the carer - it's one extra worry you don't need just now. And that's what the agency is there for, sorting out these issues. (thank god it wasn't the chocolate orange lady, though )

Glad to hear Steve's been more awake today

Izabella · 01/05/2008 06:48

OJ, thinking of you. You were right to approach the agency. Its Steve's well being at stake. I'm sure that lady understands this. Glad to hear the choc orange cakes and trifles are going down well. xxx

cositjustisok · 01/05/2008 07:32

Morning OJ hope Steve and you had a nice restful night. Have a good day today too..thinking of you and the family as always x

lilyloo · 01/05/2008 09:01

morning OJ hope you had a settled night

NotABanana · 01/05/2008 11:23

Hope all is okay and you had some sleep.

mammyjo · 01/05/2008 13:04

Hi OJ. Hope you are doing ok today. You definitely did the right thing with your night sleeper. If you hadn't then you would have got no sleep at all next time she was there, for fear of her closing her eyes again.

RTKangaMummy · 01/05/2008 13:07

mmmmmmmmmmmm OJ looks lovely

Hope you have loads of hugs and cake and trifle today

TimeForMe · 01/05/2008 13:20

Hi OJ I too hope you are having a wonderful day with lots of trifle and chocolate orange cake. Thinking of you xxx

a very long night steve not settling very well and always wants me to sort him out, it was after midnight when he had his last lot of morphine, he was awake again at 3am and was aggitated and confused.
i am fed up, his mother came at 10am and once again rang the doorbell which always wakes steve up and then he thinks he should open the door, i have asked everyone not to ring the doorbell but his mother just has to do it i opened the door to her and asked that she not ring the bell as it upsets steve, she didn't answer and just went throu to see steve, when her visting time was up she just walked straight past me and out of the door
the carer told me that she had said to steve that his brother and sister are coming tonight, they haven't bothered to corfirm with me, steves mum will be speaking to brother & sister and i expect there will be more hassle from them tonight

lilyloo · 01/05/2008 15:26

Oh OJ i am so and for you she is a nightmare which you do not need. Hope bil and sil don't cause to much trouble

RTKangaMummy · 01/05/2008 15:37

Blimey

Is there anyway of taking batteries or disconecting the doorbell so it won't ring ?

Hope they behave themselves later today and you have someone there to support you if/when they arrive

VaginaShmergina · 01/05/2008 15:55

Pull the blardy bell of off the blardy wall and post it to her........or roll it in a ball of shit and throw it at her!!!

Have you get friends with you for back up tonight if they do pitch ? How much longer are they on probabtion for ?

Sorry you had a bad night and btw you did the right thing by reporting the night carer to the agency, simply not good enough and could leave somebody else exposed to the risk. xx

mammyjo · 01/05/2008 16:03

Oh OJ, I really thought she may have seen the light the other day, but clearly she is as vile as ever. So that you are having to cope with her along with your daily stress.

Really hoping that you all have a quieter night tonight, and that you all manage to get a bit more sleep xxx

NotABanana · 01/05/2008 16:15

Bitch. (Sorry)

Put a note on the door saying if the doorbell is rung the door will not be answered.

Hope you have an easier night tonight, OJ. Thinking of you, as always.

onlyjoking9329 · 01/05/2008 16:49

now why did i not think about unplugging the doorbell
doorbell now unplugged
i have my mate steve coming over tonight me was here for the show the other thursday, my mate sharon will be here too, she was here for the show the other week too.
the agreement from the meeting was that they would always confirm vists, now for steves brother that seems to mean ring Jo at 6.15 to say i will be over later as i have to borrow mates car.
for my next job i have to break 56 severedol tablets in half, i suppose i could pretend it was someone something else i was snapping in half.
i will be back later and probably in need of calming words and strong rum.
