I went to check on Steve last night before I went to bed he was fast asleep as was the waking night lady, I said her name and she didnt wake up I feel a bit awkward about it but I think I should tell the agency, do you think that is what I should do?

Morning OJ...yes of course tell the agency..she is there to look after Steve and let you get some rest not worrying if he is ok cos she is sleeping and not doing her job properly..she should have been awake .....Did you wake her up????..I would have and have doen in the past in a similiar situation and then told agency in morning..Hugs to you for today.

no I didnt wake her, I called her name but she didnt wake, I went off to bed but didnt get much sleep. Not sure what if anything to say to her this morning.

OJ, hope you have a good day today. I'm a wuss and hate confrontation (although let me have a go at your MIL ) so would innocently ask the agency if the staff are supposed to sleep on duty. (I'm right passive aggressive me!)

I am sure she did not sleep through the night but more like had a shut eye for a few moments (and was caught)..but even so that is probably why you did not sleep well...I would not mention it to her this morning cause it will be arkward, but would tell the agency how you are. You need rest to cope with the days and not disturbed sleep wondering if all is ok. Ask her how the night was as you wuld normally and see what she says......bet she will not say she fell asleep though...I would think she would have been awake for the most of the night though..but you just need to know this to be condifent in leaving Steve in their care.....{{{hugs}}}

well i usually ask her if she Steve slept well. i am avoiding her this morning.

yummy, Steve is still asleep and probably won't wake up until very late morning, 11.20 yesterday.

doesn't sound like you are sleeping much though

must be good to have Steve home

I would let the agency know. It may have been forty winks but she is not there to sleep. I would expect she has slept during the day too.

i rang agency but our case holder not in til 10 so i will ring again in a bit, i am planning a soak in the bath with a lush bath bomb, i will take the phones with me cos i just know someone will ring.

i feel more human after my bath, even the phone behaved. i am waiting for the agency to ring me back as the lady was in a meeting, am waiting for the Mac nurse to ring back as she was also in a meeting.
