I have been in agony for 3 or 4 hours, pain started in lower stomach and now moved to behind belly button and slightly to the right. Have taken paracetamol which has slightly taken the edge off but still very painful, slightly loose stools but nothing too major, not been sick bit feel sick due to the intensity of the pain. Have been wondering around, trying to poop in hope it will help bit not easing.

I'm a single parent and my dc's are asleep, I have no one to call to sit with them as it's stupid o clock. I don't think it's a big as I haven't left the house in 3 days, could be something I ate. Dr Google is saying appendicitis and NHS direct online tell me to call an ambulance. Do I just ride it out until kids are up and off to school? I don't know what else I can do. Also stuck as I have a new dog/puppy who won't leave my side and has not yet been left alone.

It's your doctors appointment today isn't it? Really hope it all goes well for you..
I'm glad the sweats have eased off and that you're getting a good nights sleep especially on the couch. Our couch just isn't comfy for sleeping on at all - I have to say that is one lucky puppy - you are so caring towards it!
Middle wound area is sore yesterday eve and this morning.. but I did do a lot of lifting of my baby since the weekend.. I feel a lot better in general now though I have to say..
Let me know how you get on at the doc x

I realised that my appointment is actually my smear that I booked a while ago and not a post op check up (blaming my fuzzy head), not really what I want today but has to be done. Hopefully nurse will check me over when I’m there, though everything looks fine, wounds healing really well now. Only issues I’m having is with trapped wind still, spent yesterday looking pregnant with a very hard tummy Sad.

Oh, a smear.. no, not what you need but I agree it has to be done and at least it's a quick procedure.
I hope the nurse had time to see the wounds and is happy with your progress.

The trapped wind just doesn't go away does it? Even with an increased appetite I'm wary of how mush to eat as I know it could be painful later..
