Hello (hopefully) to Voodoo, Worley and Jennster!!

DD covered in tiny spots 6 weeks after MMR. Was told that was when the measles bit kicks in but the rubella is earlier...or that is what dh passed on to me anyway.

This thread disappeared from my watch list for some reason! DD just sneezed an inch and a half of spaghetti out of her nose. Quite disturbing and funny at the same time.

just got rid of blasted MIL...she stayed all weekend AND last night. Actually, I had fun with her, was a treat to see them. FIL came too but had to go Sun pm to take great granny to the airport.

Sorry to hear about your dumbass SIL, MD, I was crazily ott with my dd when she was born, I remember nearly crying when I was 32 wks PG and a work colleague brought in her 16 mth old ds covered in chicken pox!! I ran backwards at speed to escape the evil pox, I was so upset at her 'thoughtlessness' bit ott when I look back on it...

Oh Worley well done for weight-watching, I was going really good but then the in-laws brought loads of crisps&dips, 3 yes 3 eastereggs and a tonne of creme eggs too..Ive put on half a stone this w/e I reckon, also its hard to get out with the buggy when they are here.

Jenn I am of your pamper day, All I fantasise about now is getting my hair blonded again, I feel so dowdy its kind of mousey beige colour.

Seriously, we were eating spaghetti with chilli garlic and ginger and she just sneezed. It came out of her left nostril....

Made a recipe from here Kamis virtuous muffins, only I didn't make them into muffins, I made 2 2lb loaf tins and added an inapproriately gifted chocolate buttons easter egg. Yum yum yum.

Oh and carrot and lentil soup.

salut everybody,
i had a days holiday today as teacher training at ds1 school, so he doesnt go back till tomorrow, but i have everything ironed, packed lucnhes all done and just waiting for the powder dispenser things to dry so i can finish ds2's 2 bottles he has at nursery tomorrow.
so today i took ds1 to the sealife centre ( as ds2 was booked in at nursery and i have to pay wetther he goes or not) so we had a mummy and ds1 day. he really enjoyed himself, then we wlaked in to the town centre and he had chips from the market while i had a snackajack {actually im a bit addicted to the chocolate ones with chips in them} {yummy yummy yummy}

went to tescos then picked ds2 up and off we trundled back home for out jacket potato tea.mmmmmm

i havnt seen mil scince august 06. she doesnt come round to our house so i dont have anything to moan about, apart from my sil who has posted out new crocs via surface mail instead of air mail, even though i sent her the money to post via air. so now i have to wait ages and ages. and to top it all work has now told us we cant wear crocs at work (even the ones with no holes in the top) so typical. you probably saw our hospital,on tv and on the front page of the sun recently as we have had so much C.Diff and lots of people dying.

so now they are sort of trying to get their act together but still giving everybody coninfilcting advise, i.e they told us to wear aprons, gloves and wash down everytime between pts, but the porters whio move from ward to ward and touching all the different beds dont have to wear gloves or aprons!! huh!! i really think that they dont know their arse from their elbow most days.

Hospital admin don't really seem to be able to get their heads round what actually happens in a hospital, do they Worley.

Ordered the backpack, arriving in the next few days. Hopefully we'll get into the woods and post pics.
dd paying for it with her £60 Easter money and we're putting the rest in.
We'll get organised for a car boot sale later in the year and hopefully get rid of all our accumulated bub clutter.

Just been to B&Q warehouse where I bought a bog in box and a basin in a box. £166! That includes some taps and all the waste stuff. I had a nice gentleman sort me out, push it round the store and put it in the boot of my car. I've just written a letter to the branch manager to say how brilliant I thought he was. Bathroom people start on Monday in the attic putting an ensuite in. Main bathroom is being delivered on Tuesday. Yay!
