I have a doctors appointment at 4.40.
I've had three previous lumps removed, last one was six years ago. They were all fibroid adenomas.
I'm already very ill and waiting for an op to remove a kidney stone.
Please cross fingers fanjos and norks that this will be ok.

Oh OJ how upsetting for you to have to wait even longer! Hope you can manage to enjoy being at home with your family over the weekend

onlyjoking9329 · 20/06/2014 00:10

The teens are all away at respite this weekend so I'll only see them Sunday evening before disappearing again, Elliot get most upset cos he thinks I'm going to die. He ends phone call from me in hospital, I'm so glad you're not dead today mom.
It's hard for them to understand it all.
I've had carers coming in and sleeping over whilst I've been in hospital Toms covered the other nights, he really is such a laid back guy, he takes his lads for the weekend in the camper van, Elliot and Max love it they sleep in the pop up roof, were hoping to go to a music festival with the lads, Toms booked the tickets 1st august I am determined to go!

mummylin2495 · 20/06/2014 11:19

Hope you get to the festival ! My gs just went to IOW festival and a bug went in his eye, medics removed it but he now has an eye infection , but he enjoyed it , makes me laugh how all these young folk leave their tents behind ! Enjoy the weekend

onlyjoking9329 · 21/06/2014 22:27

Glad your DS enjoyed the festival even with a dodgy eye.
I feel really rubbish today, temp 38.2 I'm trying to get it down to avoid having to go back in for IV ABs.
Tom is off for a few days and is looking after me well and keeping an eye on my temperature, not long until Monday when hopefully I shall be stoneless, fingers crossed!

onlyjoking9329 · 23/06/2014 17:23

Hello!
Short post, dodgy signal and being knackered. Com

Will know more tomorrow but they think they have it all out.
They've discovered I have high platelets, top end of normal is 400, mine are 660. More tests I guess.

OP posts:
mummylin2495 · 23/06/2014 17:35

Hi OJ glad it looks to be successful. Are you staying in tonight. What significance does your platelets have ? Have a good nights rest, hope you soon feel back in the real world again !

onlyjoking9329 · 23/06/2014 21:00

Surgeon said there was lots of sludgy gritty stone that was hoovered out, no sign of the piece spotted last week, i may have passed it it or may have a new hiding place.
My limited good says high platelets can be a marker from lots of things, not just blood related things like leukaemia, I'm sure it couldnt be that, I've been in hospital 5 times and have blood test etc every day, it can be caused by renal failure, so I think it's more likely to be that. It's good that they

Check things out.
As for going home Wednesday at the earliest. Fingers crossed, Abbey and Bethan break up from college then, I feel bad that I couldn't go to the open days/evenings with them, Carers took them for me.
How are you doing?

Hello norma, Mummylin and viva, they let me out!
No urine bag and no stone, now to recover, so pleased to be in my own bed, at last, I'm still in a morphine haze so this may make no sense at all!
Thanks for everybody's support, it's been a nightmare 5 months but you've really kept me going, thank you Thanks
