<klaxon> grape sized lump... hurts to sit down...

Wahhhh...

I've had this lump on my labia for many years now, hard but painless.

Since a few days ago - I blame spin class - it's got really big, red and painful. It's the size of a large grape and is mostly hard. I've had mag sulph paste on it, germolene, hot baths, tentative squeezes... nothing - It's hard to dress too, thanks to the location.

I've had similar before, hence my mag sulph knowledge, but this just doesnt seem to be coming to a head, paracetamol and ibuprofen are not touching the pain.

Any ideas???

Hoping it's all better now.

KatoPotato · 16/04/2014 14:47

I'm feeling like a million heroined up dollars. Doctor was suitably impressed as by the time I got to see her gym had got bigger and blacker! Tramadol as soon as I arrived but that still didn't touch the pain but I entertained my DH with a spaced out stream of conscious about 'according to Gyn'

Lovely ga and I feel better already, I've had a cup of tea, a wee and should be getting out about 5.30

You guys are the best and most understanding support network ever!!!

Hurrah for pharmacy-quality opiates!
Glad you are ok. Keep an eye on everything, make sure you go back to hospital or GP the minute there are any developments you aren't happy with.

VelmaD · 16/04/2014 14:51

Thank god its all over and you had the strong drugs. Have they managed to drain it without cutting it or are you all stitched up? Tea tree baths are good. Hope you're home soon!

KatoPotato · 16/04/2014 14:53

5 stitches, well he was a big bugger, glad you're feeling better.

Can you imagine going home and telling the oh what you'd be doing today .....

LettertoHermioneGranger · 16/04/2014 14:56

"serving the Gym" oh no! He's taken over!

Glad to see you're ok and got the attention you needed. I'm usually a picky poppy fucker but that bollicle definitely needed medical intervention.

Five stitches! Easter Shock Well, good war story for the midwives when you get your BFP...

DinoSnores · 16/04/2014 14:59

Excellent. Hope it all settles down nicely now, but you will probably have been the highlight of their day. As a junior surgeon, it was often my job in my theatre and was great!

KatoPotato · 16/04/2014 14:59

I'll make sure I ask my doctor for all the gory details! I think they slashed it.

Bugger epaulettes, Kato - you deserve a medal! I'm glad you are feeling better, and I hope you heal up quickly.

ophiotaurus · 16/04/2014 15:07

Glad you got rid of him. Bet you are feeling a million times better now. Hope you heal up quickly x

KatoPotato · 16/04/2014 15:10

Sparklingbrook · 16/04/2014 15:13

You have earnt whatever you want Kato. I will tell DH it didn't pop. I can now tell you that when his popped he cried it was so painful, and DH does not cry. And he cried again when they packed it and filled it with silver nitrate.

Anyway you must be happy to see the back of it so to speak. Have you got to go back?

WipsGlitter · 16/04/2014 15:15

Respect.

scarletforya · 16/04/2014 15:17

Wow!

Well done you! You can have the hugest Scooby snack ever!

I would love to have seen the eruption!

KatoPotato · 16/04/2014 15:17

I'm still here 'til 6, I've not spoke with the dr yet but I've been told ill continue my fluclux and get some pain meds. No doubt she'll tell me what sort of stitches they are and if they need removing?

DH has been my super star making me laugh whole waiting to go in, he was saying my fanjo would become 'top dog' on the Gyn ward and to watch out for the bounty lady shouting congratulations and wanting to take photos (clearly he's still scarred from her!)
