Zombie needs her limbs holding

With Zombie's permission, I'm starting this thread

As many of you know she has had a hideous time through her treatment for cancer.

At the point where she was maybe out of the woods she has been asked to see her surgeon on Friday. Unexpectedly Sad

Can we all squeeze her together so her limbs don't go flailing
and do what we vipers do best?

I cannot bear the thought of her going through all the treatment s again after coming out of it before

Prayers, fingers crossing or whatever welcome right now

That is a lovely sounding weekend zombie, how lovely your friends are, good food, good wine, good company, perfect!.

IamtheZombie · 13/04/2014 23:30

You are all so kind. I really could never find the words to express how much your support means to me. Please just know that I love each and every one of you.

I do have incredibly wonderful friends and family. They all know how difficult I find it to admit that I need help much less ask any of them to provide it. They aren't letting me get away with that now. I'm extremely grateful to them for that.

Thanks Thanks Thanks

Hi sweetheart, just back.
I'm so happy to read about your wonderful week-end, you really deserve it.
I'm especially pleased to hear that you are allowing people to help you, even if they aren't giving you any choice Grin.
My gorgeous FIL would waggle his finger at you and tell you not be selfish and always insist on helping other people. You must allow them the pleasure of giving to you.

Love, hugs and Bears.

Do we have the same FIL? Mine would say the same thing.

Thinking of you Zombie, I'm glad you had such a good weekend.

Dubjackeen · 15/04/2014 11:19

Sending you my best wishes. Sounds like you have fantastic family and friends, and I bet they are happy to be able to be there for you. Take care of yourself, you deserve every bit of goodness coming your way. Flowers

flatbellyfella · 15/04/2014 13:58

Flaty still sending best wishes to Zombie , good to see you had a great weekend, surrounded by true friends. Thanks

IamtheZombie · 15/04/2014 22:23

Thank you again, you lovely, kind and amazing people.

I've started packing my hospital bag. I also managed to do 5 loads of washing and quite a bit of house cleaning today. Now I'm relaxing.

The best news of the year is that I've got someone to tackle and tame my garden. It's had virtually nothing done to it in 18 months and is totally out of control. One of my neighbours called around this morning and asked if I'd like him to do it. I nearly bit his hand off! We've agreed terms and he will get started this week. It will be so nice to come home to a garden that is at least beginning to be tamed.

Windy, when I'm ready for my new prosthetic boobs that's the dress I'm going to wear to see my BCN so I get fillets that do it justice. Grin

ellenjames · 15/04/2014 23:14

just seen this and just wanted to say I admire your courage, and wish you all the luck in the world x

BewitchedBotheredandBewildered · 15/04/2014 23:18

Great news about the gardening neighbour. Don't let him over-tame though, bosky is gorgeous.

I bet the BCN doesn't get many people dressed like that!

Have just seen your lovely woolly hug on facebook, Zombie. There is surely only on Zombie and I've not just made some terrible faux pas mentioning it here, I hope. Blush It is wonderful and am so glad of you having such a beautiful blanket, oozing with love.
