Zombie needs her limbs holding

With Zombie's permission, I'm starting this thread

As many of you know she has had a hideous time through her treatment for cancer.

At the point where she was maybe out of the woods she has been asked to see her surgeon on Friday. Unexpectedly Sad

Can we all squeeze her together so her limbs don't go flailing
and do what we vipers do best?

I cannot bear the thought of her going through all the treatment s again after coming out of it before

Prayers, fingers crossing or whatever welcome right now

Good night all.

Yes I hope the results are quick, and also an easier wait. (It sounds like you had to organise a trip for the biopsy, so I can see how that would make it harder).

Kudzugirl · 22/03/2014 08:15

Good Morning Zomboloid

I hope the sun is shining and that you have a good day today. Here's your morning tea Brew.

weebarra · 22/03/2014 10:01

Hope the bruising is not too bad today zombie. That bloody clunk! I had 16 biopsies (both boobs and armpits) and the radiologist felt the need to say, every single time "here comes the clunk". I probably would have punched her had a not been being very very still.

loveliesbleeding1 · 22/03/2014 11:06

Morningzombie, glad you are not in pain, hope you have sunshine where you are, and that you can have a nice chilling weekend.
Thanks for explaining the biopsy process, and a morning Brew.xx

IamtheZombie · 22/03/2014 17:05

Afternoon! The sun is shining now but there was some hail a couple of hours ago. It's also cold out there.

I'm pleased to say that there is no real noticeable bruising or swelling. As for discomfort - it's tender if I press on it but that's it.

This is what it looks like now. As you can see, there was a tiny amount of bleeding but that is perfectly normal. I'll be able to remove the dressing and steri-strip tomorrow.

Valpollicella · 22/03/2014 17:55

BewitchedBotheredandBewildered · 22/03/2014 18:59

Sun went over my yard arm at about 4.30 this afternoon when some friends arrived and twisted my arm!

Very glad you're not in pain Z.

Yup, awe and respect sums it up perfectly.

IamtheZombie · 22/03/2014 23:21

Can I open another bottle for you, magi? Name your poison. xxxx

LilRedWG · 24/03/2014 12:21

Hope there's no bruising come out and you are still pain-free.

IamtheZombie · 24/03/2014 12:49

I've taken the dressing off this morning. There's only a very, very small faint bruise around the puncture mark.

I'm still completely pain free and it's no longer tender / sore when I press on it.

This is all good. Grin

ZingSweetCoconut · 24/03/2014 13:03

That's good, I'm glad you are not in pain.

fx team can discuss your biopsy tomorrow so you don't have to wait too long

loveliesbleeding1 · 24/03/2014 13:15

Ah, that is great, Smilexx

Nocomet · 24/03/2014 13:24

Still thinking of you and wishing you well.

Take care they may be watching, there was a car labeled
"Zombie invasion response vehicle" in town.

IamtheZombie · 24/03/2014 13:52

Ooooh, did you get a picture of it, Nocomet? Just so I know what to look for. Grin

Here's the faint bruise and puncture mark.

Looks like magi missed her drink. Well, I'll have it if it's still going, waste not want not. (I'm not fussy).

Glad the biopsy went as well as can be expected and glad they treated our Zombie well.

MinesAPintOfTea · 24/03/2014 14:08

I'm glad you're feeling well. Best wishes for the results soon.

FuckYouChrisAndThatHorse · 24/03/2014 14:16

Barely a bruise :)
