With Zombie's permission, I'm starting this thread

As many of you know she has had a hideous time through her treatment for cancer.

At the point where she was maybe out of the woods she has been asked to see her surgeon on Friday. Unexpectedly

Can we all squeeze her together so her limbs don't go flailing
and do what we vipers do best?

I cannot bear the thought of her going through all the treatment s again after coming out of it before

Prayers, fingers crossing or whatever welcome right now

Okay not what we hoped for but pragmatic one step at a time mode that is good Zombie - they are being ultra vigilant and hope the biopsy takes place very soon.

Here for hand holding and limb holding for the duration Zombie. A corner of FYF is at your disposal for bad jokes and even worse behaviour.
Sorry your battle continues, it goes without saying that everyone was hoping for different news.

Thisvehicle, yes, I'm primarily under the care of the RSH. I can't praise them highly enough. Without exception every single person who has been involved in my care over the last 28 months has been exceptional: consultants, registrars, chemo nurses, clinical trial nurses, radiographers and volunteers. They are the most professional yet caring and compassionate team I have ever had the good fortune to meet.

Having said that, breast surgery is carried out at the PRH. But again, the care I received there was also exceptional.

Anyway, I've now watched NCIS so it's time to go open Val's Smoking Shed™ (if she's not already done so). Smokers, vapers, vipers and everyone else more than welcome.

Oh good luck Zombie. I am very much hoping it's benign and if for some bastarding reason it's not then you have done so much for everyone else then I for one would be happy to pack a car for the weekend, fill your freezer with easy meals, do your washing, sort out any urgent jobs and make sure you're ship shape for a few days.

So sorry to hear it wasn't a simple admin error, but on the upside, they're all over it like a rash very quickly so hopefully it will be sorted double quick and you'll be up and running again in no time.
