Ok those of you not happy with your tums - who is going to join me on this Sit Up thread
Its up to you how many or what type - but post here when you've done your daily dose & help to spur others on !
I'm not a fitness expert (so don't sue me if you pull a muscle ) but I've Googled some tips

Not too many sit ups ! Do 'bicyles' too! (Bottom of link)

Sounds insane, but I had a shaman heal me on Sunday, and I have been aching sooooo much since Tuesday for no apparant reason that I can't do them

In her terms... Cleared some energy blockages caused by me worrying about things that I can't deal with yet, and made it easier for me to vocalised them when I CAN deal with them, and set me so that my energy flowed more efficiently and I would feel less tired - sort of a slow drip of energy rather than one big burst.

In the outside watchers terms... waved a feather over me, banged a drum, put her hands on my tummy, throat and head.

I felt very strange afterwards - very very emotional (everything she said - in more detail - was completely spot on, and things that I haven't told anyone), but since Monday evening I have been aching sooo much, and I haven't done anything to cause it, apart from see her...

Haven't read the whole thread but given the state of my stomach, I've got to ask ... are the sit-ups working for all of you? If so, what exactly are you doing? If the word is positive, I'm joining you!

flamesparrow's doing v well (see below). Early days for me, will prob measure tomorrow but I'm told not to expect much before about 6 weeks. I'm doing a daily 10-min pilates dvd - details below. Certainly feels like something's happening, and abs def stronger

i'd say so millie. You could always read up a bit on the key principles - there's a good book called pilates for a flat stomach

Okay, have just done about 10 (am v v v unfit ) of the bicycle ones but am certain I'm not doing them properly - the directions don't make much sense. Can someone who does them, please explain them to me. My muscles are sore though so I did work something!

I couldn?t figure out how to do those bicycle ones so I never did them.
i didn?t do any last week. been a bit hard with the kids off school but im going to do them as soon as i get up now
iv also been doing skipping, its actually good fun, well the kids have fun watching me, well more laughing at me
glad to hear every one else is still doing them

OMG .... my muscles. 12 at the ungodly hour of 7.30am this morning and another dozen just now.... going to add 2 on every day. Got DH to demonsrate his intrepration of the bicycle exercise and think I'm doing it correctly. Have printed out the directions for the other exercises on Whizzz's link but will wait a day or two before introducing more.
