stitch · 02/07/2006 19:03

thats why i like the gym. its air conditioned. did loads today, though lost count, so cant really say , but nothing yesterday as didnt go

Flamesparrow · 03/07/2006 11:00

Exhaustion from a small child feeding every 1 1/2 hours last week ground things to a halt, but back on today

Am I mad to be noticing a change already????

bresha · 03/07/2006 13:00

I?m going to own up! I didn?t do any on Saturday or Sunday
But done some 2 day!

stitch · 03/07/2006 13:13

i was sent home from the gym today..
was told i was going there too much, and needed to give my body a rest as well. otherwise it would just stop working. (not sure what that means)
so came home and did housework instead, and now have nice clean, tidy mopped living room, several wash loads done, and,,,, well, still fat obviously.

fs, i think if you havent been donig situps before, and have started now, then yes, i think that you will notice a difference very quickly. well done you.

franch · 03/07/2006 19:32

Hooray, just got started. Not doing situps as such, bought a 10min intensive Pilates for abs dvd, just did it and it was hard

spursmum · 03/07/2006 19:35

Still doing mine but had a wierd weekend so no posting and I ache from actually getting sex for the first time in aaaaggggggeeeeesssss!
Yes I know it's TMI but I had to share!!

Jasnem · 04/07/2006 14:21

Did 10 sit ups today - not many by everyone elses standards, but better than none(I hope) Plan to increase daily, and start the cycling exercise when I've worked out what to do.

Xavielli · 04/07/2006 14:30

Spursmum.... Sex is much better at burning calories than sit ups.. not so toning tho. Those being the options.. I'd go for thin and saggy

franch · 04/07/2006 15:04

Did my 10-min pilates abs dvd again this morning - DD1 (2.5) suggested it (should take her on as my personal trainer), and she joined me, along with her baby doll and the driver from her toy ambulance (complete with large sheets of coloured paper for pilates mats). So it was just like a pilates class in my own front room

Abs aching a bit - the routine is tough - so fingers crossed.

Whizzz · 04/07/2006 15:08

I'm doing some later when it cools down a bit!

OP posts:
stitch · 04/07/2006 23:20

none at all since sunday

franch · 05/07/2006 10:42

Did my 10 mins again this AM, loads of aching

Flamesparrow · 05/07/2006 11:30

I started out at 15 Jas and have been adding each day. I am definately seeing an improvement - my collapsed in centre line is starting to go

I never realised how easy it would be to get started with just a little nudge.

stitch · 05/07/2006 18:25

well done all of you.
i went to the gym today, so did my workout. been on a diet since saturday now, but no improvement in tummy yet. though some people i havent seen fpr a while today said i looke dbetter.

Jasnem · 06/07/2006 13:12

12 today. Every little helps. I hope.

JellyNump · 07/07/2006 00:33

I normally do 30 in the morning and 30 before bed. I do the ones with knees bent and hands at side of head near ears? Does that make sense?

Jasnem · 07/07/2006 14:02

Is anyone else still doing this? I need to report in every day, or I'll give up.

franch · 07/07/2006 16:19

Have done my 10min dvd every day this week
