Hugs to fluffy - they have to run the tests even if your symptoms can also be explained by what you've been through recently. I had a p.e. after childbirth and it was a scary experience but a course of warfrin sorted me out.

Waves to gig in French France.

I feel much much better today, now I have a drs appointment of course. Had some spotting so think period may be on way finally. Forced myself out for a run yesterday and cycled to work today and felt much better for it (apart from undercarriage Blush ) - even went out along canal path tonight.

Hope you all get some sleep tonight. Its cooling down a bit here now which helps :)

topsyturner · 30/05/2012 07:41

Aaaaaaaaaaaaargh !!!!!!

12 year old boys .
As you were .
Be back later .

graciesmall09 · 30/05/2012 07:57

12 year old boys are bad, imo, but 15 year old boys are even worse. When there is a 15 year old and 12 year old in the house - HELL.

jchoc glad you are feeling better. Definitely sods law when you start to feel better but have already booked an appointment.

Hope Frence France is restful and relaxing gigs.

Waves to everyone else.

Gigondas · 30/05/2012 08:12

Hmm hates to tell Gracie and Topsy that IMe with dss it gets worse (he is super lovely now though but is nearly 22).

Sent dh out for fbs so will load the trolley.

Loads of love for gracie and anyone else with appt, treatment or who just needs it today .

Gigondas · 30/05/2012 08:18

It's been a while. orange update

graciesmall09 · 30/05/2012 08:27

Oh my eyes. Think I have been slightly put off my breakfast with those photos.

AutumnSummers · 30/05/2012 08:32

hugs to JC, Flffy and Gracie x

gig I'll take that hug, Fine needle biopsy results for me tomorrow. I'm busy today so at leat my mind will be e;sewhere.

I applied for a job yesterday. Stupid? Yes. Necesssary? Absolutely. People looking for jobs can't have cancer. That's my logic and I'm sticking to it lol

Gigondas · 30/05/2012 08:41

Should have warned you gracieGrin

Autumn fingers crossed with job. And cancer is not who we are, we just have it.
I will light candle for you (special French France one for tomorrow). And whatever it is we will be there for you.

graciesmall09 · 30/05/2012 08:51

Autumn more hugs to you for your results tomorrow. We will be here to hand hold.

topsyturner · 30/05/2012 09:13

Am back now .
12 year old boy complaining of back ache
12 year old boy crying in bathroom as "you shouted at me and my back is sore"
12 year old boy gets it both barrels for crying wolf as we both know this is because end of year exams start today
12 year old boy stomps off to school in major huff forgetting his lunch

42 year old mother slumps on sofa clutching minty aero ...

And on an even better note , had massive leak from breast wound in the night . Have big red raw and bleeding strip running down my boob .
Nurses will be here soon .
Fingers crossed its not another hospital job please .

Gracie fingers crossed for you today that the syringe driver works as well for you as it did for me .

Gig that was not a pleasant linky !
Must do better Grin

topsyturner · 30/05/2012 09:14

And Autumn I will light my candle for you tomorrow x

Gigondas · 30/05/2012 09:15

If it doesn't smell funny (sorry) I doubt will put you back in. Probably just do dressing again.

I had forgotten that seasonal illness of "examitiis" - dss used to suffer dreadfully (ESP when we made him go in).

AutumnSummers · 30/05/2012 09:16

Ohh Gig fancy French candles. J'adore!

Thank you Topsy and Gracie

Oh dear Topsy! Blass the 12yo. He has man flu already!

AutumnSummers · 30/05/2012 09:19

*bless

graciesmall09 · 30/05/2012 09:24

Topsy you should know by now you aren't allowed to shout at boys of any age because it will then be your fault when exam results aren't great (well that is what my boys' tell me). In fact, my 15 year old shouted down the stairs to me at about 10 pm one night that it was my fault that he was revising and feeling stressed because I shouted at him. 'No son, it was your fault that you left it to the night before the exam to get your books out'. Hope your wound doesn't leak anymore and you can stay at home.

amberlight · 30/05/2012 09:34

Topsy, eek re leak! Everything crossed that it's something fixable pronto.

Autumn, likewise everything crossed for tomorrow...

Here, loo overflowing, plumber called, (MAS will know my current state of mind!). At least DS is here at his towering 6ft rugby build to loom over this chap and stop him inventing things.

Gigondas · 30/05/2012 09:49

Yuck amber - hope that gets sorted ASAP.

gracie it's always our faulttries to ignore forthcoming drama when dss gets results

Sometimesiwonder · 30/05/2012 09:55

Blimey!

Lots going on again, then, much of it a bit - well, gulp-making.

I am lighting a candle for Fluffy's CT scan, Gracie's chemo, Autumn's results (and job application - well done you!), and Topsy's weeping wound.

And will include anyone else who needs a bit of light and calm.

xx Thanks

smee · 30/05/2012 10:30

I second Sometimes's 'blimey'.

Fluffy, really hope you get some clear news today. Thinking of you.

  • Gracie, I hope the Picc line makes it all easier and the driver's fully stocked so you don't have a gap.

Autumn, like the work hunt attitude. Will be sending hugely positive vibes all tomorrow.

Topsy, grr for that wound. Did the stitches rip or something?

Amber, yikes for you and the loo. Hope plumber arrives pronto.

All this talk of teenage boys is making me want to leave home. I have a randomly stroppy 8 year old, so who knows what he'll be like with hormones.

Gig, how's France then? Hope it's sunny. Can I have a nice crisp baguette with some cheese of your choosing on fbt??

Grin at latest orange pic. My BCN and I were laughing that I went for smaller implants. She thought I could have started a whole new career if I'd gone Jordan size...

Sometimesiwonder · 30/05/2012 11:29

Those Jordan pics are staggeringly bad. Seriously, what IS she like (and why? Hmm )

Grin
MaryAnnSingleton · 30/05/2012 11:35

oh my,can't keep up ! lots of special thoughts to autumn gracie and fluffy
amber that would throw me completely - hope it gets sorted v quickly Sad
topsy fingers crossed for you, hope nothing nasty going on with wound xx
gig hope you're having a lovely time
Have just quoted for a possible book job - really hope I've balanced it right !
As for 14 and very nearly 15 year old boys... it's a whirl of crossness and ill temper and then sweetness- think that goes on for a bit.

OP posts:
Sometimesiwonder · 30/05/2012 11:39

ooh, exciting! A new book job would be fab (as long as it's not that nasty MB bloke again - if it is, I hope you've added on cash for the buggeration factor, I haven't forgiven him yet) Smile

graciesmall09 · 30/05/2012 11:44

Amber hoping your plumber turns up soon and manages to get it fixed quickly.

mas here's hoping book job works out.

Can't summon up much enthusiasm today so vegging on sofa switching between MN and Facebook so all in all not a very profitable time.

Sometimesiwonder · 30/05/2012 11:56

Sofa time is never unprofitable, especially when having chemo. Official.

Amber - sorted yet?

NedSchneebly · 30/05/2012 12:08

Morning all

Feeling worthy as have tidied DS room and wiped around a bit with a cloth cleaned the bathroom. Now sitting down for a catch up.

gracie how's it going my love? Hope all OK so far. Thinking of you x x

autumn that's the spirit! What is the job? How exciting!

amber hope you're not too stressed. Glad DS there with you for support.

MAS how exciting - a book deal!
