im alive! just. DD2 back to drs again today and me too. She threw up again last night and this morning. Dr is not worried says just to give her flat coke to drink (yes really) and keep an eye on her. Rather strange as she has temp of 38.3.

Hes checked me out and pretty much said the same to me. Thinks we both have the same virus.

Anyway, I ventured into The Doghouse, never again.

he said to ditch the dioralyte, that children hate it and won't drink it and that as all children love coke to give her that instead as she'll definitely drink it and we just need to get calories into her.

The living room is covered in sick, the bedroom is covered in sick, her bedroom is covered in sick and now the kitchen is covered in sick

she's been sick again this morning so rang nhs direct, then primary care, just got back from there, got to take her to hospital to check her out now

Hello all. Had a fab day with the in-laws. We had no electricity for 2.5 hours so we couldn't cook the turkey.

It was alright in the end, house got cleaned, people were fae and watered.

My folks are on their way here to collect DD, she's off to X Fator tomorrow afternoon.

just walked back in from hospital, all ok. shes got something 'viral' and 'bad' but not anything that she needs anything for iyswim. They've said the rash is viral, the sickness could be because of the pain of the ear infection or could be ongoing because her stomach cant cope with much after a long period of sickness so when she tries to guzzle now she wants to drink her stomach just rejects it, so got to syringe her juice instead.

god its a nightmare in hospital trying to keep dd2 from screaming and the dd1 from causing havoc when you're stuck on a ward for 5 hours (my parents are away this weekend).

She's dehydrated but only mildly. The drs all went @ the coke suggestion, knew the original dr was weird

Right got to go off and scream at dp about to kill him. be back shortly.

Washing like a mad woman today to catch up on house work. DH cooking breakfast, off out for a walk (read hobble as my legs hurt so much after new physio ) with Nemo and the wolf later, then turkey salad/sanwiches for dinner

Fups - I'm so glad Mole is okay. Bless her. Thing is, as fast as they go off the boil, they tend to bounce back just as quickly making you feel daft for worrying so much, bless her.
