WallowsInFlies · 03/11/2010 17:23

anotherbrickinthewall · 03/11/2010 17:28

RememberRememberMitzInNovember · 03/11/2010 17:35

Oh gorgeous WiF Smile... xx

WallowsInFlies · 03/11/2010 17:40

it looks cute eh? think we've got to share a bathroom with others but worth it to be somewhere so cute and it's right in the centre.

i'm quite excited! apart from our meet up i've never been away alone since having ds. god it will be lush to sit on an airoplane without a toddler! i shall grumble loudly if anyone else's are near me Grin

it's about a guy who used to be a famous fake psychic who then uses his skills of observation and mindy stuff to help the fbi instead brickie.

anotherbrickinthewall · 03/11/2010 17:41

ooooh so it's the psychic/headology stuff then, but without the x-factor woo? hmmmm I might like it. Usually more into crime series - CSI, Sopranos,Spiral

Mousefawkes · 03/11/2010 17:45

WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWOooooooooooooooooaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh!!!

What have I missed SAF? You are going away? WITHOUT me?

It looks devine, it really does, I love places with decor like that. Very me. When are you going and who with and why was I not consulted?! Grin

Well, been to the dentist. Got to have the tooth out, she wanted to take the one my wisdom tooth is under out aswell.

No thanks. They may take all of my wisdom teeth out to prevent future problems.

So, it's a waiting game until I get the appointment and a shit load of mega strong antibs again. No booze allowed so I'm going to have to get off my face on pain meds to stop it hurting.

Good job my mother is a drug barron. Grin

Mittz - when I had Nemo, there was a baby boy with part of his bowels on the outside of his body. They operated in 2 stages to get them back in but I thought how are they going to get all of that, back into that tiny little chap?

But they did. He's Nemo's age too. We sometimes see him at the hospital when we have check ups. Smile

I'm fine, I never lose faith that one day, he'll lead a fairly 'normal' life.

When we got back just now, some scrotes had thrown a full box a glass re-cycling into the road as we pulled up.

We had to stop and clear it up. 4 neighbours all out brushing up the glass, and little old me directing traffic!!! Grin

Not Grin at what the twats had done, bringing the entire village to a stop at rush hour but {grin] at me trying not to get run over.

Fuck, I am yapping.

Ignore me. xxxx

WallowsInFlies · 03/11/2010 18:36

i've got that double - my neck swells up (glands i presume) and i keep getting little hits of fever on and off. i think i'm better then it comes back again.

blardy winter and it's lurgies.

would love to take you dubs.

mouse - it's just a long weekend at the beginning of december with a friend of mine. we met when we were pregnant so never had the chance to go away together. both single mum's, it will do us the world of good to have a little adventure i think.

well done on the traffic management

RememberRememberMitzInNovember · 03/11/2010 18:49

I think I swallowed pond goo...

DS made me laugh yesterday. They put a local anaesthetic up his nose on some cotton wool and instructed him to sit for 10 mins without blowing it out.
The anaesthetic made him sneeze explosively and after one he sniffed deeply and the stuff must have shot up his nose and he's going 'OMG I can't feel my eyeballs'
He is so naturally funny, I was trying not to laugh because he was also distressed at the thought of the procedure but bless him Grin.

Your heart stops doesn't it Mouse... such tiny wee things that endure so much.

Hmm at glass in the road but I do love it when a community pulls together Smile

I couldn't direct traffic in the middle of the Nevada Desert...

Oh SAF, you'll have a wonderful time I'm sure. It will do you the world of good. xx

Mittz - When I was younger, I had nosebleeds all the time. I outgrew them but they would alway cauterise my nostrils every time my dad rushed me to A&E in the dead of night.

They used Novocaine on a swab to numb my nose and it was ace!!! My whole face was numb, a bit like now!!! Grin

I look like a chipmonk, just on the one side tonight!!!

BrianAndHisBalls · 03/11/2010 19:43

fab news re weekend away saf Smile

not seen anything else, trying to sew and sort work stuff out. Hope all are well.

Special hugs to dubs who is obviously not well. x

RememberRememberMitzInNovember · 03/11/2010 19:58

Aww Mouse.. Novacaine huh!
No wonder he was chirpy. A bloke was smoking a very strong spliff in the bus shelter later on, the poor kid was probably as high as a kite!
He has sinus problems also and they said if the meds don't work they will 'burn' those out. I clench everything at the mere thought!
