Sorry for the rubbish title.

Hello, I am Bitter and have 3 or 4 lb to lose.

Whether you have a lot or a little to lose, join in for lots of chat and some healthy eating.

All welcome, as long as you have something to say. Smile

they look lush mittz - i'll commission a pair if you're taking orders Smile

morning mouse - get thee warmed up.

i've finally bathed and washed my hair too double. it was at the, has to be tied back in a knot and even then looks manky stage. big believer in not overwashing here. i have madly dry skin.

those mini motorbikes are insane! saw a kid round here of no more than 4 out on his own on one the other day flying along on the path, tiny oversteer or hit a stone or something and you're on the road under a car. people are stoopid as stoopid can be.

HammerMouseOfHorrors · 24/10/2010 12:22

typing left handed,sorry for typos

BitterAndTwistedGoreDodger · 24/10/2010 12:25

Those bikes are madness, we get loads of them round here, all over the pavement.

Have finally wrestled DD into bed for a nap and bribed DS with the promise of a comic to read in bed for half an hour.

Still PJ's here Blush

I need to get out or it will be dust for dinner.

Love the hand warmers Mittz.

HammerMouseOfHorrors · 24/10/2010 12:25

Mittz - are they like leg warmers for your hands? I would happily have a pair. As WIF says, are you taking orders?

They look lovely. [hsmile]

WIF - I have so many clothes on..... may have to light the fire soon. BBbbrrrrrr.....

How's your new sofa?

well i'm clean and dressed but ds is still in pj's and covered in snot. he went in the garden with coat and waterproof trousers over his pj's.

he's next.

nails on the pavement?

WallowsInFlies · 24/10/2010 12:34

have worked out present and made enquiries for neice and nephews christmas/birthday present.

discover scuba day, cheaper than i thought and personal as they know i was an instructor and have always asked about it. pretty cool and memorable i'm thinking?

i'm crap at presents and remembering birthdays and all of that organised stuff, i'd rather do spontaneous giving when the inspiration comes, but that's pretty crap in the real world. hoping this will be a nice thing to do to make up for my non-conformity on the usual stuff.

Sounds ace WIF! I'd love something like that, although not scuba as I have this irrational fear of something going wrong! Silly I know. I'd love either a pamper day or a photography masterclass type thing.

Photos are coming along nicely, going to go and have lunch then make a cake :)

BitterAndTwistedGoreDodger · 24/10/2010 12:41

I love buying presents. Smile

That sounds like a really thoughtful gift saf, I'm sure they will love it.

OP posts:
WallowsInFlies · 24/10/2010 12:48

would you believe it's only actually £15 per head. they just have a lesson and a video then a dive in a pool. but cool experience at 12 i'm thinking.

you're a nicer person than me bitter. i hate having to buy presents on cue, like it's christmas. i'm scrooge.

BitterAndTwistedGoreDodger · 24/10/2010 12:51

Not nicer, I just like giving presents. Which is why my DC have no concept of the value of things, i suspect. Blush

sofa and chair good thanks mouse. was nice walking in here this morning. feels more spacious even though the sofa is longer, it's low and simple.

tomorrow will be tv bench and shelving unit construction time. gp's have offered to pick ds from nursery and have him for the night so i have a good run at it.

BitterAndTwistedGoreDodger · 24/10/2010 13:16

I need to go out hunter gathering or DC will starve. Catch you later xx

I know what you mean WIF re space. Simple always make a room look bigger.

Cool gifts too!! I love things like that and it's a bloomin great price! MrM dives. I snorkel [hgrin]!

Good luck Dubs re the cash point.

LollipopViolet · 24/10/2010 14:17

Cake is DONE! Iced and everything. Just tried some and it's lovely! Although I learnt a lesson: when using a cake mix and making icing, start mixing with a spoon BEFORE using the electric whisk.

Otherwise you get a rather spectacular cloud of icing powder!

HammerMouseOfHorrors · 24/10/2010 14:20

[hgrin] at the thought of LV covered in icing sugar...... that's usually my trick!

Can I have a petty little moan? When DC's Dad left last year, and he collected bedding, he took 1 of each pillow set. So I don't have a complete set of any bedding. I am too stubborn to ask for them back and actually think about getting new stuff so I can have a complete set. He doesn't even fecking use it as he bought new also. It irrationally niggles me.

Cake sounds good LV...cun I 'ave a slice please?

Sounds fab SaF. Kids will love that gift. I am not sure how posh my wrist warmers will be but Smile I love mine.

I like buying other people pressies but HATE wrapping them. I am totally carp at it. Any creative gene I had skipped the application to wrapping. As much as possible gets wrapped in tissue and stuffed put in one of those bag things.

I'd rather have an experience than a thing IYSWIM.

WallowsInFlies · 24/10/2010 15:14

you still haven't asked for them mittz? this has been bugging you for ages - ask or buy new - don't keep letting it do your head in x

is there ikea in ireland double? this sofa was mega cheap even taking into account having to pay to have it delivered.

I suddenly remembered I'd posted it before. It only really pops into my head when I change the bed linen. I just need some nice pillow cases to go with my Quilt covers because I really like them. Cheaper that way. Yes he is a control nut.

I haven't been to Ikea for ages.

One of DS's mates (13) is colouring in with DD (7). He has a really hard outer shell but a heart of gold given the chance Smile.

Afternoon

Carb fest of pasta and garlic bread for dinner at DS's request.

I love wrapping as much as buying presents. I love Christmas. Smile
