Hello lovelies. I have been earning good mummy points by playing with my children.

The heavens have opened here, it's chucking it down.

Would it surprise you to learn that I don't want to go to work?

well i have constructed a sofa (who knew you had to put sofas together?) and a chair.

bookcase and tv bench have to wait till monday.

i might ask the joiner/carpenter guy (who i think likes me, well i know he does but feels funny saying it) whether it would be possible to turn my coffee table into a dining table without it being a monstrosity.

and i now know how and which way round i want this room but it's not possible without getting my arial socket moved and doing a lot of jiggling.

exciting eh? sorry. dull as ditch water.

You can get Co-ax extension relatively cheaply I think SaF. Nothing would stand in my way of having a room how I wanted it.

this room is pain in the arse enough because it only has two sockets in ridiculously useless positions so i already have to run extension cords everywhere.

anyway. a good days work. reckon i'll feel it tomorrow

My house is a bit like that SaF, I think if I removed all the extension cables, it would fall down.

I am OK thanks . The party was good. A little like being on MN . I got back later than I had planned as I agreed to share a taxi, and felt weirdly hungover. (I drank 2 glasses of schloer and one of soda water) but it might have been all the onion Bhajis that did that! God I love them.

Still working and getting hungry now.

Evening all. PIL are off tonight. Just eaten and feel huge now. Lasagne and low fat garlic bread.
