we've already been out to the shops (coffee crisis). it is icy cold out there and full of the sound of people scraping ice off of their cars. must be winter.

WIF - It's FREEZING HERE!!! The builders are here knocking down the front wall to rebuild it...... MrM is off interviewing, DD is in a feckin dreadful sulk just because she can, Nemo has puked, puked and then he erm, yeah, puked, I finally got to sleep around 3am - jitters, jumps, pain - only to be woken at 5 and then 6 by fidget bum (Nemo) and MrM impersonating a fucking warthog.

WIF - it was that bad last night I considered the bloody landing floor!!

It's gorgeous here too and apart from tired, I'm pretty smiley because of it. The car was solid with ice earlier so a blue sky was always on the cards.

be nice if we could meet for a coffee and sit outside in big coats, scarves and gloves. that sort of day.

Oh yes, that would be lovely but I think I'd have a nice thick hot chocolate! Desert in a cup!!

in reality i'm wiping the eternally dripping nose of a 3yrold, being subjected to 'homeward bound' again and contemplating an afternoon of constructing furniture single handed.

aww double. hard feeling.

it's one that leaves me be unless i get involved with someone then after it's over i feel it. was hard after the brazilian. a whole month or so of waking up with another adult, i got used to it.

i just thought to myself, maybe i'll eat breakfast today, then looked at the clock

In the end my experience of sleeping with someone became so negative that I haven't missed it that much. I do from time to time but on the whole it isn't the biggest thing I miss.
