Hey SAF.

Double - DO NOT COMMENT ON WHICH CHEEK! Grin

Pate on toast here. CBA to cook tonight.

TMI ALERT -

I am flooding off my feet. I'm having to change tampons and pads every half hour, if not sooner. It's fucking horendous.

Gah. And my pain killers aren't working. I want to cry. Can I cry just for a minute?

Sorry to be a mard arse.

Sad

Double, paprika roast potatoes are exactly what they sound like. If you are doing proper roasties then mix paprika into the goose fat. If you are doing normal roasties then coat the spuds in a generous coating of smoked paprika (garlic and black pepper optional) after parboiling before you shove them in the oven.

Can I just add, my dinner was out of the freezer. It may have been made by me, but not tonight, I just shoved it in the oven and did the spuds.

VampireMouseface · 11/10/2010 19:50

The joys of Endometriosis. I think I need to go sonner rather than later about this don't I?

TC - if you are around, is worth me asking for iron tablets for when I'm on my period given the amount I'm losing?

Oh to be a man for just a few days a month. It gets worse and worse each month.

BitterAndTwistedGoreDodger · 11/10/2010 19:50

oops x posts, sorry Mouse that sounds horrific xx Make sure you are getting plenty of Iron.

BitterAndTwistedGoreDodger · 11/10/2010 19:51

Aaand, another x post.

VampireMouseface · 11/10/2010 19:51

Bitter - those spuds sound yummy!! I may try them!

We have home grown Roosters so spicing them would be lush.

VampireMouseface · 11/10/2010 19:52

Grin at X posts!!

BitterAndTwistedGoreDodger · 11/10/2010 20:05

I'm watching last night's x factor. DO NOT tell me who goes out please. Smile

ThePumpkinofDoomandTotalChaos · 11/10/2010 20:29

yes to iron, but get them to do a blood test first, so they can look at it all accurately iyswim. and bloody hell (literally) to the flooding, that's not right at all, I would push for a gynae referral - could be something like a fibroid. and having to use both tampons and pads, that's also not right, shows something is amiss. if you could be arsed - and I imagine you wouldnt fancy it - I think pitching up at A & E would be justified tbh.

AliceandtheGinormousBaps · 11/10/2010 20:35

Mouse - i also suffer from endo, had it lasered 6yrs ago - more painful than a cs! I use spatone to keep my iron levels up, works very quickly too Smile

Had a bit of a rubbish day, so now getting sightly drunk on my homemade sloe gin

x factor was crap.

VampireMouseface · 11/10/2010 21:16

Oh Alice! It's horrid isn't it? Mum and nan had endometriosis too so had hysterectomys at 30.

So far tonight I have had to wash 2 pairs of knickers, 1 pair of jeans and my pjs. I didn't make it to the loo either so there is blood pn the floor Blush and Sad

I have had to go and get more tampons too.

Will def talk to doc Thurs.

Bitter - we couldn't see XF due to shite reception on freeview!!! It was crap though!

AliceandtheGinormousBaps · 11/10/2010 21:17

Our reception on freeview was rubbish for x-factor results too

VampireMouseface · 11/10/2010 21:18

BTW Alice - why such a rubbish day sweetie? xx

AliceandtheGinormousBaps · 11/10/2010 21:27

Just DD suddenly being a complete madam. This was how i was worried she would be after F came along, but it has taken until this last week for the bad behaviour to start and then F only being happy when having full attention. Just a bad day Confused sloe gin is aking it all better Grin

Night Double.

Alice, I think DS went a bit stroppy when DD was about 3 months old? I think it finally dawned on him that she was a permanent fixture iyswim.

Luckily it didn't last long and now my two adore each other. There is nothing sweeter than watching DS read DD a story. Smile
