TheMittzressOfMystery · 14/10/2010 10:31

Sorry, Morning Mouse Smile ((( )))

How are you, did you get any sleep last night. Take care, you have a busy day today I think xx

HammerMouseOfHorrors · 14/10/2010 10:31

Erm, hello?

WallowsInFlies · 14/10/2010 10:31

i don't think you're bad for shouting - throwing coffee tables and breaking things would make me shout and i don't think i'd feel bad for it. later i could do the i understand you're angry and love dove stuff but at the time of the destructive behaviour i'd be about stopping the behaviour because it's wrong and you can't have that whatever the reasons.

you can talk to him later, don't worry. think he'd have been shocked if you hadn't shouted! i don't know. boundaries are part of security in my opinon, them staying in place is on some bizarre level reassuring for kids i think. something solid.

blah blah ignore me and come drink coffee or tea as you prefer

X posted Mittz!!!!

I'm ok, tired as always! Mad busy in and out kinda day. Need to put my brave big girl pants on, pull em up and get on with it!!

Argh!!

WallowsInFlies · 14/10/2010 10:36

i've had my linseed tea, chamomile tincture and passionflower tincture. if that combo doesn't calm me down nothing will.

i have to say the linseed goop stuff i make that my friend recommended does seem to work. i don't notice it at the time but then if i don't have it for a few days my anxiety levels/emotional chaos seems to go up again. gonna try to keep a regular supply made and at hand.

glad to have bored you with all my herbal desperate measures Smile

TheMittzressOfMystery · 14/10/2010 10:44

That sounds interesting re the linseed SaF, can you tell me about the goop please?

desiretochange · 14/10/2010 11:13

Morning all, sorry everyone is having a shitty time:( was relatively good last night on the eating front (spag bol) but had some garlic bread with it! Have a funny feeling that the two large glasses of red wine might have cancelled out my attempts at healthy eating yesterday.
On the plus side, I wobbled yesterday evening and again this morning, legs little bit sore!
Mouse good luck with doc today . .

WallowsInFlies · 14/10/2010 11:24

long post warning!

mittz:
-bring a litre of water to the boil, add 2 tablespoons of linseeds (preferably organic golden linseed but i've had trouble sourcing those so have used bog standard ones from bitter's place of work).
-bring back to the boil then take off the heat and put a lid on.
-leave for 8 hours or overnight with lid on.
-return to the boil then put on the lowest heat possible to simmer for one hour with lid on but it needs a vent so if you haven't got a vent saucepan bend a teaspoon and put under the lid to let the steam escape - you do not want this stuff to boil over it is sticky as hell!
-then strain immediately into a jug or something.

you put some in a mug, say about a third full then add a little boiling water and beat it well with a fork to get it to break up, then fill up the cup with the hot water and beat and drink. i have a few cups a day and you should have it on an empty stomach.

it keeps in the fridge for up to four days.

it's good for anxiety but also for digestion problems and energy stuff apparently.

WallowsInFlies · 14/10/2010 11:26

morning desire. well done on the spag bol rather than takeaway.

i had my last takeaway last night. will not eat one today or tomorrow then i'm away for the weekend and after that i'm going to get back on the wagon of trying to lose weight.

mouse - sorry i've missed your posts in the midst of replying to others. good morning gorgeous and good luck with all the stuff you have on today x

HammerMouseOfHorrors · 14/10/2010 11:34

Catching up with just this morning's posts has had me guffawing and sobbing!

Saf, what makes you think I cope with any one of those three things?! :o. Have you seen my life! :o

Mittz, what you said to your son brought tears to my eyes. What a lovely mum you are. Wish someone had said those things to me ass a child. It would have made all the difference.

Mouse. Has anyone seen mouse? She's conspicuously absent... :o. Sorry mouse, couldn't resist! Love you!

Bitter, your poor, poor son :(. What a bunch of crap-bags to hurt him so much. Thinking of you lots at the moment.

Brian, your ex is a proper knobber. He is selfish and stupid. Your poor dd. It makes me grateful that exp never wanted anything to do with ds. Alhhough it creates new issues I never have to worry that he'll let ds down, because he has already. She knows she has you as her stable figure. It's amazing how resilient a child can be when they have that stability.

Hello everyone else :)

Dd is asleep now. Spent all morning vomiting every twenty minutes, but hasn't for a little while now. Fingers crossed shes throughh the worst of it.

I'm watching JK and REALLY want to smack that woman. Crocadile tears.....

Yawn.

UNO - how's things babe? With DH? I've been thinking about you. Where have you left things?

Still thinking of a spooky name for you too xx

HammerMouseOfHorrors · 14/10/2010 13:57

I'm having it trimmed and tidied up. Then a nice deep chocolate brown colour on.

I'm a bit Worzel Gummage at the mo.... need it sorting!

I'm only dressed cos I had to leave the house! Grin

UNO - YouKnowNothingOfTheMonsterMash? or YouKnowNothingOfTheMonsterMUNCH!!! Grin

TheMittzressOfMystery · 14/10/2010 14:01

Like the Monster munch one especially. Smile

Mine's like that Double.... I have found quite a good 'serum' that stops it looking like candy floss, but I have it thinned every 5 weeks. It has the texture of Badger hair which is nice Hmm

If my DC's want to suffer painfully upset me they ruffle my hair.

HammerMouseOfHorrors · 14/10/2010 14:03

My mop is curly when it gets longer and it really course.

So I use John Freda's Brilliant Brunette Shine Serum. It's a bit pricey but because my hair is short, it lasts ages.

Where is Bitter and WIF?

Mittz - how are you feeling lovely? Any better? xx

TheMittzressOfMystery · 14/10/2010 14:19

A bit like a wet rag Mouse. But taking it steadily. Have had to sleep but it gets me through the day. My veins itch Hmm. I am not sure how that is linked but it drives me even pottier potty.

Still fairly chirpy though.

I am using TRESemme salon silk serum. It is quite oily but seems to suit. I haven't changed colour for ages.

desiretochange · 14/10/2010 14:24

My hair is currently like the top of a mop Blush

HammerMouseOfHorrors · 14/10/2010 14:27

Off to hairdressers then docs.....

Back later lovlies. xx

YouKnowNothingoftheCrunch · 14/10/2010 14:33

Since I just ate a packet of monster munch it might have to be that one! Thanks mouse :o. How are you feeling after your intensive day?

Things with h were left well, but then they usually are after a discussion, it's only a problem when he carries on doing the same things and doesn't change anything. So we'll have to wait and see.

On a positive, he did offer to take today off work instead of me. But I know he's got an important meeti g tomorrow that he needs to prepare for so I insisted he go. But that was thoughtful

He seemed to finally get that I'm not happy. He was surprised by just how unhappy I am with things at the moment. Dd just been sick again

YouKnowNothinoftheMonsterMunch · 14/10/2010 14:41

What do you think?

The full thing was too long, so I had to drop the g.
