best bit for me was 'there are jobs sitting down, but i wouldn't like to be sat down all day' Grin cracked me up.

Mouseface · 24/09/2010 14:30

Followed by -

If you didn't get £300 every 2 weeks, would you have had 2 kids?

Answer - no.

You don't fucking say.

OP posts:
BrianAndHisBalls · 24/09/2010 14:44

and 'why should i get some humdrum job?' err well.....

Its sad though because by showcasing such twats they give ammunition to the Daily Mail brigade.

Still can't believe that £1700 disposable, it can't be right, they must be including rent in that.

Anyway who's with me on petitioning for 'JK takes on the Pope'?? Grin

Mouseface · 24/09/2010 14:48

I'm with ya!!

They don't pay rent, the rent is paid for them. As is their council tax.

They don't see the money, it goes straight to the council or Housing Association that the house is owned by. Same with the council tax, straight to the council.

So the £1700 pays for their car, food, clothes and utility bills.

She said food was £100 a week for 8 soon to be 9 of them, 5 dogs and a cat.

And they had a big car so the insurance was very pricey.

Bless.

There are 16 Cadbury's Dairy Milk teacakes to a packet. Guess how many I've eaten.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 24/09/2010 14:51

I wish I could quit my job and get given £1700 a month. I don't think DH and I put together get that much.

And we have to pay the mortgage and council tax out of that!

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 24/09/2010 14:51

12?

Mouseface · 24/09/2010 14:55

Nope.

OP posts:
BrianAndHisBalls · 24/09/2010 14:55

see i thought that mouse from what she said but it cant be £1700 disposable, dp is watching it on skyplus, and if you add up what she says its around £1000, so I think that £1700 must include rent/council tax etc.

I could live with that Grin

It's just sad that they dont seem to know re contraception, I mean seriously no one moves in with a woman with 6 kids and gets her pregnant within 3 months on purpose surely? You'd have to be fucking insane.

Shit my monthly shopping is probably about £3-£400 and there's only 4 of us. There again if I actually ate the stuff in the cupboards I wouldnt need to shop for the next 3 years. I horde like Double Grin

Mouseface · 24/09/2010 14:55

Bitter - we don't get our mortgage paid or our council tax. Funny how some categories of the unemployed do and some don't.

OP posts:
BrianAndHisBalls · 24/09/2010 14:56
  1. you must have saved one for me.

miitz - love you sweetheart, have popped in post for you xx

Mouseface · 24/09/2010 14:58

Brian - REWIND IT!!!!!

She says or JK says that they GET their rent paid for them and their CT.

They also run a banner across the screen that says her £1700 is for gas, utility bills and car or some such too.

Trust me, rent and ct do NOT come out of that money. She even said so herself that they don't get to see those two benefits, it's paid direct.

Don't make me come over there and wrestle you woman!!!

OP posts:
Mouseface · 24/09/2010 15:01

Nope.

Only 6 Shock!!

OP posts:
BrianAndHisBalls · 24/09/2010 15:01

i heard him mouse but my brain is refusing to accept it as the truth. he says it to them and i think they say yes because they dont understand the question. Thats the story Im sticking to!

Thats the only way my sanity will not combust, so im believing it!!!! Grin

And if I dont tell DP that thats how it is he'll probably refuse to continue working 50 hour weeks. I don't bloody want him under my feet all day Grin

Mouseface · 24/09/2010 15:05

You are pricelss! Grin

OP posts:
BrianAndHisBalls · 24/09/2010 15:25

Just finished two more brooches. (from the Bitter collection)

He got back at 2pm and I said 'thank god, all of my childrearing duties for the weekend have now ceased'

I think he might be emotionally abused you know. He says 'can you make a bottle up please' (because hes holding the baby) 'fuck off im mning' was my response Grin

he's going to dump me soon isn't he?? Grin

Mouseface · 24/09/2010 15:26

ROFL!!!

Brilliant. I may try that here if I ever tire of being married. Grin
