Cupcaked - yes you could be right. I don't feel down myself (I know Ebbie does) but you could be right re tiredness. I did too much (again!) yesterday and was feeling quite wobbly by evening time. Went to bed at 930 ad am OK now. AND I have 4 lots of soup made for the freezer and DS has taken a fab chocolate cake to school (he made one and thought it looked rather small so I made another while he was at Samba then we stuck them together with yummy icing.)

Chocolate a bit of a theme then , along with Welshcakes of course. RWU - you are extraordinary with the vinyl! Well done! Nice to have a hot line to the young farmers too.

My shed/greenhouse is now up in the graden BTW. I don't have any young farmers, but the guy who does the work in the garden is great!

Enjoy a half term of furriness MAS. Personally I quite enjoy stroking my head as hair getting thicker now. Its more lke animal fur than human hair!

Cakesandale · 21/10/2010 10:49

Fuzzy head Grin I remember it well. It's great, isn't it.

Loving the idea of your ds doing Samba SR, bless him.

I think all sorts of things contribute to the tiredness. It's good to push yourself a bit, but v important not to overdo it as then you do get all wobbly which is just depressing.

Here's a rousing cheer for nearing the end of radio cupcaked.

My DH is v grumpy. He's just gone headlong after tripping over a file I left on the floor. Oops Grin

cupcaked · 21/10/2010 12:05

I am LOVING my furry head and can't stop stroking it either. Eyebrows came back really quickly, so not so mirror avoidant first thing in morning now. Looking forward to having enough eyelash to catch mascara again (some way off) but love love love furry head. Tho not so fussed on the furry face, thanks tamoxifen [emoticon for furry face anyone?]

And will not know what to do with self after Halloween when no daily trips to hospital. It is a real bind, and must be awful for people who live far away from treatment centres (I am so lucky, it's a mile away).May
even start to aspire to a clean and tidy house, tho will bear in mind all that doing too much stuff SR- take it easy! You too RWU!! (tho vinyl floor, wow, respect..)

Hi all Smile I'm back all refreshed from my holiday. I climbed a large hill, went for huge long walks every day, and generally had a fantastic time with my DSIS and DBIL. Here's the hill we climbed on DH's birthday Mither Tap of Bennachie can you tell I'm rather pleased with myself for making it to the topGrin?

I'm still reading through all your posts to get up to date. But I see MAS has a beautiful kitten - I am very very Envy - she is adorable.

RWU - you've been a whirlwind as usual! well done on all your hard work (and keep those farmers numbers close at handGrin)

Cakes - well done on the PTA volunteering, and hope DH is feeling less grumpy soon!!

Cupcaked, I hope the rads are going well and you are not feeling too tired, and managing to avoid skin probs., Smee - sorry to hear about the toenails, my finger nails went very ridged and are still quite brittle, but didn't come off. It sounds painfulSad

SR - hope you are fine, and have fun on your holiday (not sure when you are off, but am presuming it is over half term?) it will be lovely to bask in some warm weather.
I was sorry to read about your neighbour's daughter. How terribly sad and devastating for her Sad

Remembertoplay - just wanted to say hello, and I'm very sorry to hear about your mum, it must be very difficult for you all. I have no experience of taxotere, but I hope your mum manages to get the support and information she needs from the hospital as soon as possible.

Ebbie - nice to see you Smile I'm pleased your treatment has gone well, but sorry to hear you are feeling down. As others have said, you have been through a lot of worry, and its bound to take its toll. Be kind to yourself and give yourself time to recover and get back to normality.

Forgive me if I'm not totally up to date yet, I'm enjoying reading all the posts, but am rather slow!

I tended to forget Tamoxifen too - I have gone for the old lady pill organiser solution, as I have several things to take and my memory is fairly hopeless.

And I also vote for Tamoxifen the 6th Grin

xx

Cupcaked, hooray for only one week left. That's amazing, as is fuzzy head. Smile No eyebrows here, but (shameful boast) I have four eyelashes - stumpy but microscopically countable; two for each eye. I still look like Uncle Fester though.

RWU, total respect from me too. Both for floor and for keeping Young Farmers on tap. That spray glue sounds rather excellent too.

SR, samba now that brings back memories. I used to go to an amazing Latin club in Brixton years ago. Five hundred people in an illegal warehouse after hours on a Friday night. Mostly high as kites, but the dancing was astounding. Probably more Salsa but some Samba am sure. Oh to be young again (sob!).

MAS, I like the notion of meditation, but have never tried. Keep thinking I should give it a go, even more so after diagnosis as it's hard to settle or focus on anything. Mindful stroking sounds rather lovely to. Can almost hear Celeste purring. Grin

Cakesandale · 21/10/2010 13:04

Yay for smee's eyelashes.

Hi KK - good to see you back. You CLIMBED that thing? Strewth.

MaryAnnSingleton · 21/10/2010 13:13

Hooray too for smee's returning lashes !
And wow ! impressed by mountaineering KK - lovely to have you back and glad you had a good time.
Hope dh is a bit less grumpy soon Cakes.
Have just done my meditation and realised that i've never actually heard the middle bit of my meditation cd Blush -obviously have drifted off into a reverie there. I did my mindful stroking of celeste in a break from cleaning the windows - it was lovely and warm in the sun,and she was very purry.
