I don't know. I think some genuinely can't stand that working class women with the "wrong" regional accents (because of course all accents are regional although some seem not to realise it) are succeeding in a sphere generally reserved for the privately educated middle classes.

I'd love to think they're not for real but I think they are, or some of them at least.
