Nursing a hangover I expect.

and she is probably exhausted as I suspect they all are on limited sleep for quite a while.

Hiding out with Larry the Cat? Not seen him either.

He was out on the grass about 10.30 am clearly thinking about swings and roundabouts of human life.

HebburnPokemon · 05/07/2024 15:38

Where is she atm? Has she left #10?

That green suit is an interesting choice! Am not judging her competence based on her clothing but it's quite eye-catching!

I thought the same.! She doesn't own an iron that's for sure. Either way it's a bold choice ☺️ whatever floats your boat I guess and on zero sleep who gives a fig.

legalseagull · 05/07/2024 15:41

Probably shagging someone else's husband without a thought for his kids I'd imagine

BiddyPop · 05/07/2024 15:47

She was on tv (I moved between sky, bbc and ch4) early this morning getting rained on.

AutumnCrow · 05/07/2024 15:48

Rayner's the new Deputy PM and also Secretary for Housing, Levelling Up and Communities.

She has been into and left Number 10.

I work as a civil servant in her Dept. We are all standing on the stairs awaiting her, ready to clap.

Picking the kids up from their dads.

Edited

God forbid a woman has children with more than one partner! Nigel Farage has kids with two women too, are you also worried he’ll be too busy picking them up to do his job or is this just misogyny?

@Leniriefenstahl When anyone with ferocious ambition at the seat of power (in a government with no effective opposition) holds strident views that are diametrically opposed to mine, I have the right to hold the opinion that they are unsuitable for the role as a higher importance than all the other issues where there may be common ground. Voting based on a single issue is not an uncommon strategy in the electorate.

  • Others in the Labour leadership may also hold these views but they have not been as vociferous in the first place or rowed back on them as the campaign progressed. This still worries me, and meant that I held onto my postal vote till 9.30 last night before eventually voting for Labour rather than abstaining or spoiling my vote.

Accidentally shut in somewhere for the day? Perhaps Keir knows what’s good for him after all.

😂

Picking the kids up from their dads

Yep God forbid a woman has children and works for a living, or has children with a man who will actually share their care.

SkippysEar · 05/07/2024 16:30

Can anyone believe this woman is now UKs deputy PM? Has their ever been such a contrast between the PM as a kinghted man with qualifications coming out of his backside, to an uneducated loudmouth with about as much class as a school in summertime.

Oh dear… you are feeling sore

marmaladeandpeanutbutter · 05/07/2024 16:47

Good for her. Pleased for her.

Leniriefenstahl · 05/07/2024 16:53

You can see the utter contempt certain people have for the working class on this thread. Explains why so many northern seats saw through the tories and dumped them or voted for reform/lib dems and greens.
BBC was discussing how the Tories had latched onto Rayner as someone to watch hence the unsuccessful attempt to portray her as financially dishonest. It was all part of a deliberate plan.

Complete and utter contempt, not for hard working working class people but for people like Rayner who are barely literate.

Oh give over. Having contempt for one person doesn’t mean you have contempt for everyone.

the state of raynor, and her leftie politics, people slagged off Boris’s appearance, so we can comment on her appearance, her green suit was horrific , imagine that being the deputy pm.

CelesteCunningham · 05/07/2024 17:08

The misogyny and classism on this and the Jess Phillips threads are borderline upsetting me today, and I'm not one to let the internet get under my skin.
