Independent , but left leaning .

Pieceofpurplesky · 04/07/2024 18:47

Labour x 4
DS (a politics student) had his first election vote. It felt great going with him.

bombaybicycle · 04/07/2024 18:47

2x proud Labour votes here.

Cracking up at the suggestion voting Reform is the better option for women. Except it's not actually funny that people really think like that.

I love the fact that we live in a democracy and I can vote Reform, as I liked their policies (although MSM has been shameful in their coverage of Reform - which has meant people won't read the policies but just listen to the hard leaning left media) and vote on that instead. Personally I think anyone, especially a woman, who votes Labour in 2024 needs their head examined, Labour - who can't say what a woman is, that's how idiotic that party is today. They won't protect women's safe spaces or sports.

I am in a very safe Conservative seat, it even stayed Conservative in 1997. I don't anticipate it changing tomorrow morning.

So you don’t want the nhs to exist?

Odd that so many people saying Reform aren’t giving any rationale, unlike the other posts…

They mustn’t like the nhs

Grin

You're not seriously telling us that you care about women's rights and that you voted Reform, are you?

AskingForAFriend12 · 04/07/2024 18:48

Labor. Tactical decision to ensure Tories are out. I align the most with LibDems actually.

Gall10 · 04/07/2024 18:48

Gasbard · 04/07/2024 17:28

Reform

So the nhs isn’t for you?

1dayatatime · 04/07/2024 18:49

@MrsBennetsPoorNerves

Ahh the tolerant left wing...

Fully supporting democracy so long as it's for the left wing, anything else and you are a fascist, racists, white, uneducated etc etc and deserve to be sent off to a gulag.

chocciecake · 04/07/2024 18:49

I'm concerned that people are voting reform. I'm worried about the rise of the far right.

I've voted labour. Hate their views on gender but hopefully they will be held to account once they are in government. JKR I'm looking at you.

Rosieposy89 · 04/07/2024 18:49

Tactical Lib Dem

OldTinHat · 04/07/2024 18:49

Reform.

It might be satire?

Reform voters aren't known for being the sharpest tools in the box, so might be someone taking the piss?

Gall10 · 04/07/2024 18:50

rabbitmeat · 04/07/2024 17:59

Reform

So you, like Farage, don’t want the nhs to exist? Strange!

TheNoonBell · 04/07/2024 18:50

Reform

iamsoshocked · 04/07/2024 18:50

4 x tactical LibDem votes.
Anything to get the Tory out.

Pieceofpurplesky · 04/07/2024 18:50

NoNameNoOne · 04/07/2024 16:33

Reform although to be honest none of them represent my opinions. I voted reform just to show I want to see REFORM in the parties and of the stale, lying, political elite we have, rather than thinking they were getting in. Hubby safely voted Labour which our area has and will always be.

Oh the irony, protesting against the lying political elite by voting for the fascist lying political elite who are ten times worse!

UghFletcher · 04/07/2024 18:50

Labour tactical vote to get the tories out here but I didn't feel particularly enamoured with any of the parties or policies. I'm sad that I've had to vote tactically rather than for someone I believe in

Morishe · 04/07/2024 18:51

14 family members of mine voted Labour today. I support anyones right to vote, especially women after the efforts of the suffragettes but I couldn’t be friends with anyone who votes Tory after the past few months.

LadyRoughDiamond · 04/07/2024 18:51

Labour

Sunnybow94 · 04/07/2024 18:52

Reform

KnottyKnitting · 04/07/2024 18:52

I live in a constituency where people would vote for a Badger with a blue rosette so pretty pointless voting labour. The reform candidate is an odious little man and the lib dem one is a total drip.

I voted Green as they are the only ones who I don't loathe with a passion.

Barleycat · 04/07/2024 18:52

Safe labour seat so voted green. Son voted Labour

Have you been able to go to the polling station today and place your vote?

You have democracy, and no one on this thread has suggested that democracy should be stripped from anyone.

The dildo of consequences rarely arrives un-lubed, and the consequence of announcing that you vote for Reform is that you are - rightly or wrongly - jumping in bed with the racists and the xenophobes, and will be called out on that.

You're the only one who's mentioned gulags, as far as I can see, though.

dapsnotplimsolls · 04/07/2024 18:53

Monster Raving - protest vote.
