Our Reform candidate is definitely an idiot who doesn't know what she's doing.
Nice she's started to take an interest in it all...
Until recently she appeared to running some kind of wellness business on FB.

Just read your post again and I can't believe how judgemental you really are!

She WON the title 2 years after she was in a COMA!

She sounds fucking brilliant.

OhhhLaurie · 04/07/2024 19:39

Labour x 2

Laloue233 · 04/07/2024 19:39

Labour. Tactical, heart is Green and a great candidate here, but my head won.

DallasCC · 04/07/2024 19:40

I voted Conservative.

Longdarkcloud · 04/07/2024 19:41

Lib Dem have been fabulous in local politics and I’d have liked to have voted for them but tactically would have thrown my vote away so voted Labour . Voted Labour all my life until they became tweedle dee to Tory’s tweedle dum but now feel it’s the only way to get change.
Proportional Representation is the only true democratic voting system.

GETTINGLIKEMYMOTHER · 04/07/2024 19:41

LD, but tactical, since I actually think they’re pretty much a busted flush.

Moonshiners · 04/07/2024 19:41

3 voters in this house. All did the who should invite for quiz and so all voted Green. Usually labour voters

Fishcake18 · 04/07/2024 19:41

Labour

ImWearingPantaloons · 04/07/2024 19:42

Labour, via postal vote

US2gether · 04/07/2024 19:43

I see that Labour has dropped to 48% and LD increasing

Willyoujustbequiet · 04/07/2024 19:43

Labour

Very reassuring to see Reform doing badly on this poll.

Is that part of the criteria for being a good politician? Winning a weightlifting title after being in a coma? 🤔

I'm more concerned about the parts where she says "Never been one for politics" and "found myself paying more of interest in it all". I feel like political interest and the ability to string a decent sentence together should perhaps be part of the criteria.

Is it true that there are bots on here?? How does that work..are they creating posts using AI? I am intrigued!! horrified and appalled

I must have dreamed the dozens of videos I’ve seen this week like this then

vm.tiktok.com/ZGesnWJwx/

Tiktok won't represent most voters.

My Reform candidate is a black man.

allhappynow · 04/07/2024 19:47

Conservative 🫣

Do you know how much mental fortitude and hard work goes into body building?
Why does being a body builder make her an idiot in your opinion?

I wasn't the poster you're responding to, but I'd have concerns about any candidate who had no interest in politics until recently. It's great to have a political awakening but going from a position of political ignorance to campaigning for office in the space of a couple of years is a bit alarming; even if they were running for a party I supported, I'd have deep concerns as to whether they are suitably knowledgeable to be an MP.

Yeah cool, RP really works in Israel

WingSlutz · 04/07/2024 19:48

Done. Labour. Not that impressed by our local candidate but I can't bring myself to vote for anyone else or to risk splitting the labour vote and letting someone even worse in. Mind you I'm in a very strong Labour constituency so it's a fairly low risk.

Outliers · 04/07/2024 19:48

Should be an option for abstained from voting.

Treeper22 · 04/07/2024 19:48

Labour but with a heavy heart. Where I live it's between lab and lib dem but despite Labour's stance on women's rights I really respect my MP who will stand up for her principles despite being demoted to the back benches for her views.

Well, internalised racism is certainly a thing.

dougalfromthemagicroundabout · 04/07/2024 19:26

Do you not care WHY they might be voting Reform?

I hate the way people just punch down on people who vote differently to how they do without asking why. My experience is usually there are very good reasons.

There's a reason that people are voting for Reform.

The ironic thing is the attitude to the minority group of Reform voters by many on the left is EXACTLY the same as the attitude they claim (usually without evidence) that Reform voters have towards other minorities.

The reason people are voting reform:

A. They don't understand how bad they actually are.
B. They are racist, homophobic or misogynistic themselves.

Neither of which is a flex.

Great idea! I took Dd this morning before school. I’d built it up as being v important (which obviously it is) but she was distinctly underwhelmed it was just putting an x in a box 😂

This made me laugh. My 6yo was up at 6am singing its election day yay. Then I realised she was excited to get sweets at school as part of their mini election 😂

TreadLight · 04/07/2024 19:51

Just voted Reform. Was wavering in the polling booth, but wanted a protest vote and chose Reform as a FU to everyone who called Reform voters names.
