I'm watching it. Was too late for me to apply to join the audience. I live in cleethorpes so interested to see what they have to say.

DistinguishedSocialCommentator · 12/06/2024 10:27

I would not have wasted my time as raising a question live on air, little chance of that and even worse, they don't often answer the question

Tonight @ 7pm - sky news 501 - Thanks

Not sure if I'll be watching (clashes with the kid's bedtime) but I will be watching Alastair and Rory's live reaction on YouTube afterwards.

Thanks! I enjoy watching Rory; but he’s a restless man and likes action. I will be swapping the BBC (dull) for Channel 4 because of him.

Please respect clowns and do not compare them with Mr Sunak and Mr Starmer.

Beth dives straight in

MrsWhites · 12/06/2024 19:49

All I’ve learnt so far is that I not be looking forward to listening to this guy drone on and on for the next few years!

He’s barely answered a question yet again!

You won't have to listen to him, he's going to resign and clear off back to California when he loses.

lol superb. Rishi's ITV interview and his apology for being late and his detail of understanding sacrifices as he had to do without SKY TV are true car crash moments

Reugny · 12/06/2024 20:07

The battle of the borings!

CaveMum · 12/06/2024 20:08

Is anyone else finding the programme glitching? I’m not sure if it’s the broadcast or my tv but the audio keeps cracking up.

BIossomtoes · 12/06/2024 20:09

Is Beth Rigby always as bloody irritating as this?

I think she's doing really well, Kier waffling on at times but some good answers. Good format I think, no shouting.

Yes but saving that money surely enabled your parents to send you to a very swanky expensive school?

Takoneko · 12/06/2024 20:18

I think Rigby did a good job. It’s right that Starmer is pressed hard. He’s 20 points ahead in the polls and likely to be PM in less than a month.

I’ll be voting Labour and I think Starmer did a good job. He’s a bit dull but did well on the important questions and the audience reaction seemed mostly positive.

If Rigby and the audience are equally hard on Sunak then the next 45 minutes could be real car crash TV. I almost feel sorry for him.

ilovesooty · 12/06/2024 20:25

She's already giving him an easier ride while he's allowed to look sad while she poses as his therapist.

ilovesooty · 12/06/2024 20:26

Mind you she's ramped it up a bit and the audience is laughing at him.
