Only if you have the 3G version - I've just gone for the wifi version. If I need the internet away from home will use the iphone. Mostly I'll be in bed mumsnetting using it in the house, so I didn't think the extra money was worth it.

Like RubberDuck, I went for WiFi only as I can use my iPhone for 3G.

the back is silver, not white. Front is glossy black. It is pretty.

I don't think there's a colour choice. It's a pale matt silver. you can't see it when it's in a case anyway.
