Having had bloody nightmares in the past (with various phones going all crap on me) would you seriously reccommend an iphone?

Ooohh now I really want one!!

Do they crash? Are they hardy? What's the best "holder" for it?

So the contract for £35 a month is unlimited wireless browsing? so you shouldn't pay any more than that a month?

Here about contactless iphones. But rememebr that internet browsing could prove to be very expensive.

StripeyKnickersSpottySocks · 31/12/2009 13:34

contractless even.

HinnyPet · 31/12/2009 13:40

Ooh thanks Spotty. I've just read that through.

I don't mind having a contract, as long as they don't f*ck me around like the twats at CW!!)

Can the email "push" be turned off?

I had this with a HTC. Think he needs to call O2 - I think on their website there is a forum where somebody asked pretty much exactly the same, maybe you could have a look Riven?

Riven,

Does your DS go on the internet everyday? I am with Virgin and they charge 30p to use the internet unlimited per day, and only on the days you use it. Obviously that works out at £10 a month for everyday, but if it is not used everyday...

Agree with all other comments, Iphone is amazing except for the camera, but I can live with that because of all the other cool stuff it does. I pay £35/month on O2 for 500 mins/500 texts/unlimited internet.

Love the iphone,
and in response to the person who said you can't use it with gloves on - Northface do some gloves which work with the touch screen called Etip gloves

BadRomance · 31/12/2009 14:18

I want one - so much

But have to have a Blackberry instead.

I actually think the camera is really good.

kneedeepinthedirtylaundry · 31/12/2009 14:20

agree, camera crap, but otherwise, the best little gadget (and I'm not into gadgets)

4CALLINGBIRDSandnotout · 31/12/2009 14:22

I'm another posting from my iPhone, I use it all the time so I have to charge it every night which is the only downside. The camera is crap but I carry my digi cam with me everywhere anyway. Dp bought me mine and I was livid, I thought the contract was expensive but I have fallen in love with it and couldn't bare to be parted from it, I would only ever ugrade to another!

My MIL got a touchphone for £30 pay as you go - not sure of the make but it was in the carphone warehouse sale.

Tocco Lite - could be just for kids though? My partner has an iphone and I find it completely resistible.
