raspberry ouch!
I decluttered a good many teapots last year, I hope some lovely student snapped them up in a charity shop...there was one with a Welsh Dragon on it just big enough for two people..surplus to requirements though, as ds doesn't drink tea and we have two Brown Betties, an irridescent Christmas teapot and a Royal Denmark blue and white one. Clearly university was the trouble started on the teapot collecting front!
Shanghai exciting to have first choice!
Marmite ds1 is starting to rev up on the music side again, and is trying to write a film script to compose a soundtrack too otherwise seemingly unengaged with anything has your dd tackled any reading lists or suchlike? I'm a bit worried about whether there is any preparation required, bookwise, music is so hands-on and much less reading I suppose. Hope you have some more beautiful Sept walks before the operation, and there will be plenty after too, I'm sure. B is such a beautiful city to visit as well.
I'm still trying not to panic about the house. It is really awful. Ds's stuff is stowed in a large suitcase so I cannot really blame that. It is just the grime showing up in bright sunlight, scuzzy carpets, paintwork, children who are now so busy doing other things or refusing to do other things that all possibility of helping with "chores" for funds has departed.
Dd had just an hour of school today, she has come back and gone back to bed!!!
She is on the warpath about the toothpaste again, just come in to harangue me..
