Which mince pie team are you: cream, ice cream or custard?

I'm normally team custard, but have enjoyed them with ice cream, though it's a strong contrast since I always heat my mince pies.

I have a friend who dunks them, cold, in her tea, which I haven't yet tried.

Brandy butter!

Being Cornish that be clotted cream. Dp puts the cream inside the lid. Which is a game changer

Cream, preferably double or extra thick double. DS1 would insist on clotted, and DH would sulk if there was no brandy butter. DS2 likes nasty cheap squirty cream, and my dad won’t touch anything white. We’re an awkward family.

With lovely thick yoghurt or creme fraiche! For breakfast. They’re fruit 😂

Or on their own with a cup of tea for an afternoon treat.

Cream and brandy butter, if still available. If not, cream.

Same! I like it heated but with nothing else but a cup of tea ☺️
