Roast chicken, roasties, mash, broccoli, peas, carrots, mushrooms, mushroom sauce. Blackberry and apple crumble for those who like sweet stuff.

MajorCarolDanvers · 06/11/2022 16:41

Ham done in cola in the slow cooker with roast potatoes, parsnips and cabbage.

Beingastatistic · 06/11/2022 16:43

Crispy belly pork couple of types of veg and smashed potatoes, they are amazing, was sceptical, they are air fried and gorgeous

Wafflehouse · 06/11/2022 16:44

Meatloaf, roasties for some, mash for others, red cabbage, peas, gravy. Maybe Yorkshire puds. All leftovers I’ve pulled from the freezer so zero effort going into it today. Except maybe boiling the kettle for the bisto.

Lulu1919 · 06/11/2022 16:48

Rarely do roast - but today we are having a roast chicken, roast pots ,mashed carrot swede and of course Yorkshire Puddings.
Flows by warm mince pie and custard

bloodywitchescat · 06/11/2022 16:54

Katsu curry for me and the 2 year old, this will be my first attempt at blending rice so I hope it works as the 2 yr old has a blended diet.

maplesaucewithbacon · 06/11/2022 16:56

I also fancy a roast having smelled a neighbour's wafting through earlier. But oven is not the best and haven't got roast dinner food in. Maybe I can plan my Christmas dinner instead?

We're having mini chicken fillets which are currently defrosting, stirfried in an oyster sauce with a variety of vegetables, depending what's actually in the fridgefreezer could be beansprouts, peppers, sweetcorn, onions, slivers of carrot or some kind of green leaves. With rice, and followed by peaches and custard. Then I'm having a bath and an early night. Might light a candle for some ambience while we eat. Can't wait for a chilled out evening but not eating until about 8pm as partner is at work and I am homeworking. Trying not to ruin my appetite by snacking.

mamaduckbone · 06/11/2022 16:59

Roast pork, crackling, stuffing, apple sauce, roast potatoes and parsnips, carrots and cavolo nero. We ate at lunchtime and it was delicious.

AbsoluteTruths · 06/11/2022 17:04

Noodles with prawn, pak choi, peppers, chilli/garlic/ginger. Made a beef bourguigon and mash yesterday so fancied something easier and lighter.
