Chicken hasn't decorated properly

Hi guys,

I got the chicken out of the freezer last night and put it into the fridge and I've taken it out tonight (literally about 5 mins ago) and it's still frozen. I can feel it's hard on the inside and see some frost on the outside.

I usually don't have a problem when I take it out the night before.

I currently have it running under cold water but are there any other quicker ways to defrost it? This way usually takes around 20/25 mins and it's getting late.

I feel weird about using the microwave as it's heat and I hate the idea of the chicken cooking a bit before hand.

It's just two chicken breasts that will be covered in a marinade and going into the oven for 25 mins or so.

Thanks

We need to get MNHQ to move this over to the Relationships board. It sounds like the Chicken is being henpacked and the OP is gaslighting her.

I dont get the yolk? A chicken d-egg-orating? You are eggspecting me to believe that?

It’s your own fault OP, anyone who has ever watched an Attenborough series knows that the go to birds for decorative skills are bower birds not chickens.
