OK now that I have permission from Lou and in order to preserve the good MNers from MM's charlatan WW recipe I am ready to spil the beans

Only it will have to come in installments, I have to take the kids to sign up with the HV so watch this space.

That's 81.5 points if you eat the entire batch in one sitting by the way. My ww meeting has decided it would be nice to have a recipe swap at the next few meetings, I definitely won't be sharing this one with them .

lou33 · 30/09/2004 13:27

I can confirm deliciousness of these as I am sitting here munching a couple right now. Am v impressed with myself because I don't own any scales either.

lou33 · 30/09/2004 13:28

Meant to say, the scoff the lot in the bathroom thing, was aimed at me, when she emailed it

bundle · 30/09/2004 13:30

sooz, does the 18 mins allow for fan oven???

bran · 30/09/2004 13:31

Why the bathroom Lou? Is it because it has the only lockable door in the house, or is it because you like to eat your brownies straight from the tin without using your hands and need to wash your face afterwards?

suzywong · 30/09/2004 13:31

hello madame Lou

secur I believe they are called Blondies and Nigella has a recipe for them in Domestic Goddess

bundle 18 minutes is not for a fan over, but is a cautious averaging out of all MNers ovens, it means watch them from 18 minutes onwards.

Both Bran.

Curtsies at madame and flutters flan

florenceuk · 30/09/2004 13:55

Sounds yum. I will have to try these - while I still have excuse to consume large amounts of sugar!

marthamoo · 30/09/2004 14:20

9 points per Brownie....OMG

bundle · 30/09/2004 14:21

the nigella fairy cakes which she says 15-20 are more than done in my oven in 10. are your brownies a bit like the nigella ones btw? i made some of hers a bit back with green & blacks and some dried cherries and they were phenomenal (i don't like nuts)

suzywong · 30/09/2004 14:23

taking the fifth on that one bundle

I adapted heavily though after many trial batches

Decided 4 year old wasn't that ill and nipped to Tesco. Mine are cooling as I type but I don't think they are done enough . They smell fantastic though and children are driving me mad asking for them every five minutes.

suzywong · 30/09/2004 15:09
