What's for dinner tonight?

I'm having chicken steak in breadcrumbs, homemade oven chips and salad.

M&S salmon and brocolli quiche, little roast pots, roasted veg and brocolli. It's a clear out the freezer and fridge special.

Homemade turkey schnitzel with Waitrose parmentier potatoes and bacon & avocado salad. Can't wait!

Fillet steak,eggs,asparagus and spinach.

Jealous of these! Especially the fillet steak & asparagus. I'm tired, dieting and done in, and on my own so it's a low carb snack plate of cucumber & celery sticks, smoked salmon, pate, olives, smashed avocado, goats cheese & basil oil. Which doesn't sound too bad now I've written it down

I wanted take away but just about managed to hold out and had quorn burger wraps with halloumi and salad, plus chips.

Teriyaki chicken and noodles followed by birthday cake made by my DH and girls.

Kitchensink I'm dieting too. If I'm being healthy I'm having decent food it's depressing enough avoiding wine and chocolate!

Defrosted chilli for me, and beige food for the kid. DH is out tonight, so I couldn't be bothered to cook something fresh for 1.5 people

Sardines with lentils, kale, aubergine and peas, with spicy seasoning. And a glass or two of wine....

Pork chilli with bulgar wheat and apple salsa mmmm 😋

Green lentil daal, homemade spicy fish cakes, chickpea salad and plain yogurt

We had the "rainbow stir fry" they made on Eat Well For Less the other night. Kids enjoyed it but I found it a bit bland TBH

Anyone got any suggestions for what to do with venison sausages? Got them from Waitrose as a reduced item so need to cook them tonight. DH isn't keen on baked beans and we had chips last night. I was thinking a bed of onions, the sausages and some mash, but can't think what else to pad it out.

I didn't have a clue what to make but in the end cooked up some cubed chicken thighs with tomatoes, grill-panned courgettes and peas, served over brown rice. It was pretty OK.
