What does everyone get from the chippie?

Title says it all :)

I only eat mushy peas with fish and chips in England when we go on holiday seems to taste better not a clue why.

Haggis supper or fried pizza supper with salt and sauce.

I'm really boring. I love a portion of chips and a large curry sauce, sometimes with a scollop. Very carby but delicious!

I always have saveloy cod roe and chips

Battered sausage and chips with curry sauce.

We don't do the chippie often, but if we do its deep fried onion pizza supper for me with lots of salt and vinegar.

Battered pizza???? And what is Rock and Roe?

I am starting to think I've lead a sheltered life.

Chips and battered king rib or white pudding (in Scotland obviously!)

Fish and chips
Smoked sausage and chips
Spring roll and chips
White pudding and chips
Chip roll with lots of Edinburgh chippy sauce.

Normally a chip butty with a side of curry sauce or mushy peas. Lots of salt and vinegar.

I occasionally have a fish if feeling more hungry, but often only really have the full works of eating fish and chips at the coast.

If back home I would get a pattie and chips (like a fish cake but without the fish). Patties are a Hull/ East Yorks thing. Here I would get curry, chips and a pickled egg.

King rib supper with curry sauce
Haggis supper
Chips, cheese and gravy
Fish supper with mushy peas

England - chicken kebab with garlic mayo
Scotland - either haggis or black pudding supper with loads of brown sauce

I can never make up my mind so I order a half pizza supper and DH orders a fish supper....he takes half my pizza and I take half his fish

Oh god, I'm craving orange chips now! No chance in the south!! Chicken kebabs here aren't the same either!!!

I can't imagine what a king rib is!

I quite like a fish cake too but they very as to what they are in different places.

In Sheffield a fish cake is flaked fish in the centre, two slices of potato either side and then battered.

Ha ha I've just finished eating it n now I'm stuffed!! I had roe, chips, saveloy and a curry sauce

Rock and chips in polite company.

Battered sausage, curry sauce & large chips is the dirty option.

Mm steak and kidney pudding we dont get them up here I dont think. Right a king rib is like a longsquare hamburger with bbq sauce stuff on and battered its very nice
