I'm just doing my Ocado shop now. Here's hoping they don't deliver me a bag of piss! Grin

ZombTEE · 15/10/2012 20:49

I wish we had Ocado here...bag of piss?!?! Well, I was Envy until you said that!

showtunesgirl · 15/10/2012 20:58

This thread if you missed it

ScreamyShriekyFrightyWoozyWooo · 15/10/2012 20:59

I used to use Ocado, but they cocked up too many times. I've used Sainsburys for years now, and never had a single problem.

Shaky · 15/10/2012 21:01

The ocado bag of piss thread was hilarious, it deserves a place in classics.

I had my eye test today and pick up my glasses tomorrow! Yay!

The work started on building our conservatory today. Ds was fascinated, watching the builders through the window all day. He did get a bit upset when they started digging up the grass. "Mummy, the builder is breaking the garden!! The grass is all BROKE!!!!"

If I was posh it would be an orangery, however, I am common so it's a conservatory.

ZombTEE · 15/10/2012 21:05

No, I hadn't seen that, I don't read the food topic. That's brilliant!

MummifiedBonkeyMollocks · 15/10/2012 21:20

Ah yes the piss thread Grin

ScreamyShriekyFrightyWoozyWooo · 15/10/2012 21:21

Oh I missed that one, thanks Showtunes!

MummifiedBonkeyMollocks · 15/10/2012 21:21

I am trying to talk someone through signing up to paypal so they can buy my stuff, its not as tricky as she is making out is it? Hmm

Shaky Yay for the galsses!

EmpressOfTheSevenScreams · 15/10/2012 23:47

Not at all, Bonkey. They don't even need to be a member - we use paypal on our website at work and there's an option for paying by card without having to sign in.

Great about the glasses, Shaky.

We use Ocado, they have their moments but they're mostly good.

StateofConfusion · 15/10/2012 23:51

I told my mum to get paypal and she managed it without further instruction, she gets my name wrong every visit despite me being her ONLY child for 17yrs, so no it is NOT hard to get paypal bonkey

I've just lost my evening, if anyone sees it I want it back, it started somewhere around the time I took dd to bed and vanished beneath me sorting all there old clothes out and earning £70 via facebook selling pages with it all. Worth it, but now I'm wide awake but exhausted and have had no down time!

I started reading bag of ocado piss thread the other day but was waiting for the shouts of troll so backed away as I can't stand all that. May go read it again if its safe :)

I've tried delivery from everywhere and in store and honestly best service I've found is Aldi, our local store is clean tidy and has really friendly helpful checkout staff so I mainly go there and then nip to the others when I need to.
shaky my ds would be in heaven at yours, he loves harassing watching anyone work, we used a mobile mechanic a couple of times this year who's very tollerant of a nosy 5yo. I do get scared when the LL comes out to do work, ds has a habbit of speaking way too much.

EmpressOfTheSevenScreams · 16/10/2012 00:01

Getting it delivered just feels so much easier. And it means we can look at the trolley and cost at the end then go through putting back the stuff we don't really need / can't afford. Facebook selling pages? I've got to try that.

When DD was 4ish she used to sit staring at the toilet door whenever one of us was in there, highly pissed off that she wasn't allowed in too.

I'm cross with Asda. I've been to two or three of the big local ones and it's all been totally normal. No fights, no pyjamas, no T-rexes. Very disappointed.

OP posts:
showtunesgirl · 16/10/2012 00:12

You should come to my local Asda then. It's WELL dodgy!

EmpressOfTheSevenScreams · 16/10/2012 00:21

Fights in the aisles? Teenagers wandering round in dressing gowns and heavy makeup?

StateofConfusion · 16/10/2012 00:22

Every supermarket here has people in pjs! But then so does the school run, and not always the morning one, often the 3.15pm one! Classy place where I live!

empress that was why I loved online, but now me and dp are such saddos we know the rough price of everything we buy in aldi, and I'm that looser going round with a calculator. Dp says were sensible, I know we are saddos! Haha!

Fb selling pages are ace, I funded christmas using it last year, this year I've not has as bigger clear out this year but I've picked up some great bits, aswell as selling. Such as a change table for dc3 for £7 and the elc wooden fairy wonderland dd wanted for £7.50. They're more addictive than ebay!

EmpressOfTheSevenScreams · 16/10/2012 00:38

We used to take a calculator too, State!

Not seen many people round here in pyjamas. Although there was a woman at the corner shop once wrapped in a duvet, come to think of it.

Facebook selling sounds fantastic.

I'm off to sleep, night State. Night Show.

MORNING!

EmpressOfTheSevenScreams · 16/10/2012 08:35

Morning, State! Thank you!

OP posts:
ZombTEE · 16/10/2012 10:15

Bless you state. I have been awake, basically, since 230. And I have my 6 miles to walk for the school run today. I've just finished half. Work? Who needs to work?

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

StateofConfusion · 16/10/2012 14:02

Well I slept from about 12.30 until 5am, then that was it I was awake every few minutes, had a hectic morning taking some bits back to a friend we'd stored for her and going for my whooping cough jab which I was late for thanks to dps sodding defiance. He's off out to a meeting now and I really want him to cancel I just can't face walking to school I want to curl up on the sofa in the warm!

ZombTEE · 16/10/2012 14:24

State I had my 4 hours of sleep...then did my 6 mile school walk...

I was going to go shopping tomorrow. I think I'll drop LittleTee and come home and sleep! His childminder picks him up on Wednesdays.

MummifiedBonkeyMollocks · 16/10/2012 14:31

Another bad sleep here, and no chance of a nap because of lovely if not a tad annoying because I set my heart on a snooze people who want to buy things.
The woman from last night gave up after a hour and is sending me a PO Hmm .

Love FB selling pages! Loads of bargains and business!

Tee That sounds like a good plan! Sleep over shopping any day!

State Hope the school run isn't too bad for you.

StateofConfusion · 16/10/2012 15:49

I dragged myself down there on the self bribe of a milky way crispy roll at the shop, to find dp parked up outside, his meeting was cancelled, didn't think to ring then love? Both kids in bloody stupid moods and being ridiculously loud.

Is it bedtime yet?

StateofConfusion · 16/10/2012 21:23

Where are you all this evening?

Who watched GBBO?

MummifiedBonkeyMollocks · 16/10/2012 21:29

Im here, trying to drum up business and listening to Tina Turner Hmm . Grin

How are you feeling State?
