Disclaimer: Not my pony but looks similar mine has horns Wink . Fb has some pics floating around .

EmpressOfTheSevenScreams · 19/10/2012 12:14

I'll have a look on FB later.

MummifiedBonkeyMollocks · 19/10/2012 12:14

D'you know the more I look at that pic....that actually could be my pony Shock !
If I hadn't had him since a baby then I would think hes been off posing for photo shoots and making some money Hmm .

MummifiedBonkeyMollocks · 19/10/2012 12:14

Whats TPS?

EmpressOfTheSevenScreams · 19/10/2012 12:17

Telephone Preference Service. If you sign up then companies in the UK aren't allowed to cold-call you, although it doesn't help with calls from abroad.

Maybe you should get him doing shoots! Blimey, Bonks, we're almost a third of the way through the thread already.

MummifiedBonkeyMollocks · 19/10/2012 12:19

Does that work on mobiles ?

I know, splashing our way through this one quickly!

EmpressOfTheSevenScreams · 19/10/2012 12:25

Yes, you can register mobile numbers on it too so should do!
Brew? Sorry can't remember if you like hot drinks or prefer water like State.

OP posts:
MummifiedBonkeyMollocks · 19/10/2012 12:28

I might look into that when I have a few minutes. Drives me loopy sometimes, and they always bloody call when I am asleep!

I am a cold drink drinker Empress , anything will do ta!

EmpressOfTheSevenScreams · 19/10/2012 12:32

I found an app called Semisilent for my Android phone that, when switched on, will only ring if the call's from DW, DD or school. Bloody useful at times.

MummifiedBonkeyMollocks · 19/10/2012 12:37

Oh I have android!

Thats my problem, I need my phone on mainly if the school ring because of ds. Dh never uses his bloody mobile as i type its in the kitchen, hes working so I don't have to worry about him calling.

ZombTEE · 19/10/2012 12:39

Best thing about my iPhone is the Do Not Disturb setting. I tell it who to let through and everyone else can feck off!

Adorable pony!

I may have to go have a sleep rather than clean the house. Another 430 wake up for me...

EmpressOfTheSevenScreams · 19/10/2012 12:40

This, Bonkey.

OP posts:
MummifiedBonkeyMollocks · 19/10/2012 12:44

ScreamyShriekyFrightyWoozyWooo · 19/10/2012 12:47

Oh just looked at the fb photos of your shetland Bonkey, he's gorgeous! He looks very sweet and well behaved, not at all like a normal shetland! I have to wait until our boys are at school until I can get a horse. :( No time at the moment. All my horsey friends have started having children now and I have no idea how they manage to muck out, ride, etc as well as look after a baby! I'll be riding in a month or so though, just on someone else's horse! Do you ride too?

showtunesgirl · 19/10/2012 14:31

Hello all, hangover gone. Operating as normal. What's the goss?

ScreamyShriekyFrightyWoozyWooo · 19/10/2012 15:12

That's good Showtunes. Just in time for a friday drink hey? Wink

My Dh is home! He went to LA on business on Sunday, and got home this morning, which meant he was away on our 7th wedding anniversary. :( He's now in bed, jet lagged. Fortunately the time has flown by for me, kept busy by the boys.

I went to the children's art group this morning, and a mum came to introduce herself because her little boy had pointed out my Ds saying he's his friend from school. I'm so pleased by this! Ds has speech problems, and I've asked him who he likes to play with but he has never told me. He always seems to prefer playing alone, and doesn't seem interested in other children. I'm very glad he has a friend! The mum said she'd watched them play together while I was feeding Ds2, and they were talking to each other and playing really nicely. She could also understand what he was saying, which most people can't. Grin

MummifiedBonkeyMollocks · 19/10/2012 15:49

Yes I ride too. Had to sell my 'proper horse' when i had ds. No time or money :( There is a pic of her in my mobile uploads on fb too. I haven't ridden for years properly, i have the odd romp on the shitland but i look ridiculous, and the bloody thing is suprisingly fast Grin

He is very sweet but sometimes he's a shit! Grin

great news about your ds! :)

I have somehow buggered up my foot on my travels today. Its pounding :(
Ds held my hand all the way home to 'help you walk mummy' :) Gotta love kids sometimes!

StateofConfusion · 19/10/2012 16:21

That's lovely screamy my ds sounds very much like yours, he had speech problems and seemed to be happier alone but after a few weeks in preschool another little boy always welcomed him and said goodbye at the end of the day and his Mum said he never stops talking about him. Its so reassuring. My ds said nothing, he said a few basic words at 1yo and suddenly stopped even saying those and was mute until 3 1/2, by 4yo he spoke a lot although not always clearly. Not at 5yo I'd like him to sssh some times, he talks at me non stop, making up for lost time!
I do think a lot of adults can't tune into children, I always understood ds, and my little brother who has speech problems, maybe its because I know them, but its lovely when people we don't know understand them too.

Very Envy of all the ponies! My dd loves them, closest she's got is donkeys at a summer fete. Any tractor mad ds's? I'll trade you a day at my Grandads farm with proper tractor rides for a pony day for my dd Grin

I'm totally shattered! I am enjoying a rare break from the after school chaos with the dcs though!

ScreamyShriekyFrightyWoozyWooo · 19/10/2012 16:31

Oh Dh is tractor mad State. He'd love that! I don't have a pony though. :(

ScreamyShriekyFrightyWoozyWooo · 19/10/2012 16:31

Oops I meant Ds!

MummifiedBonkeyMollocks · 19/10/2012 16:40

I'll trade a pony day providing I can drive the tractor! Grin

StateofConfusion · 19/10/2012 16:45

I've driven the tractor, wasn't allowed to even sit in it on the last visit due to up duffed ness.

His new one is HUGE, seriously the front wheels are my height (5"7) and slightly scary tbh.

screamy my dp loved it as much as the dcs did so I wouldn't have been suprised Wink

MummifiedBonkeyMollocks · 19/10/2012 21:46

Yes i may be hinting for sympathy, dh is bloody useless

Shaky · 19/10/2012 21:59

My ds would LOVE a tractor ride!

AND a shitland pony

He has been very quick getting dressed and ready in the mornings this week with the promise that he can watch the builders while he eats his breakfast. Getting out of the house has been a different story! "I'm not going to nursery mummy, I want to help the builders"

I went to see the doctor today and I've got a 4 week sick note and I've got to double my dose of medication. Lets hope it helps.

I hope everyone else is feeling better.
