... is gorgeous!! Seriously, the kids were all over it and I have just polished off the left overs dipped in last night's left over curry. Heaven.

Does anyone have the book and are there any other good recipes? Worth buying?

Blu even

Bumf · 16/03/2012 19:01

Oh ladies please.
I have to confess out of desperation I once used mayo as a cooking medium when had no butter or oil when staying in a well known self catering establishment. (mega long walk to shop) Wow, it was a revelation.
I really do fancy the sound of the rice crispy chicken. Will try tomorrow.
I think Lisa seems a really lovely person on tv. So hate to think her sister is upset. I am sure it is all just a difference of opinion.
More ideas welcome, and a link to the actual recipe would be good.
Xx

Thanks landofsoapandglory

Blu · 16/03/2012 19:12

OK, OK, I apologise.

I really don't like mayo in cooked recipes, but that doesn't mean I have anything against Lisa Faulkner or anyone...and I was a bit taken in by the whole marketing speak enthusiasm and ...well, anyway, I apologise, and wish you all bon appetit.

QuintessentialyHollow · 16/03/2012 19:13

I must be really ill. I read that as "Children in Mayonnaise and rice crispies"

BusterBluth · 16/03/2012 19:22

I am totally trying this! Mumsnet is lovely really, although I understand that most of us can enjoy the anonymity and shrug off anything that upsets us, whereas famous people don't have that luxury...) Please don't be out off posting, just by being Lisa's sister you automatically get 350 MN power points Wink

iamme43 · 16/03/2012 19:29

I have bought the book and love it.

The rice krispie chicken was a bit ''mmmmmmmmmmmmm ok not sure''

But my son loves them and I think they are rather tasty too.

And LISA seems really nice as well.

Bumf · 16/03/2012 19:31

Ooh.. Mn power points. How many do you need to earn a glass of wine whilst watching it all unfold?

BusterBluth · 16/03/2012 19:35

Bumf Wine earns you MN power points, you don't need to spend any at all!

1 large glass of sauv blanc = 5 points, chateuneuf du pape = 10 points, blossom hill rose = minus 15 points.

BusterBluth · 16/03/2012 19:36

You can then spend the points on naice ham and pombears in all good branches of Waitrose. Drink up!

jklikesrowing · 16/03/2012 19:39

to be fair its not really a receipe is it? hardly healthy eating is it! not everybody is gonna kiss ass just because u are a z lister sister are they?!!!! i agree with blu im afraid! dipping food in mayo is hardly haute cuisine is it?!!

iamme43 · 16/03/2012 19:41

It is a recipe because I would of never thought of it unless I bought the book.

Check out the book first before you comment lots of great fish recipes and desserts in there.

jklikesrowing · 16/03/2012 19:46

jklikesrowing · 16/03/2012 19:46

iamme43 · 16/03/2012 19:53

So you are happy to join in a conversation on something you have no interest in.

You must be five or stoned.

jklikesrowing · 16/03/2012 19:55
