I used to love tongue until I saw it wrapped around a stick in a butchers. Gross. Couldn't eat it after that.

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 29/10/2010 11:17

at tasty polenta [hwink]

I bought a tongue once in Waitrose for my Grandma (at her request). It was vile and had hairs on it!

NewOrImproved · 29/10/2010 11:20

An oyster.

I would, but I am 99% sure I wouldn't like it, and it just seems like a waste to nick one off someone when you onyl get a few and they cost a lot of money. Clearly I am not going to order one for myself.

RockinSockBunnies · 29/10/2010 11:26

Brain

Foie Gras

Oysters (keep meaning to try, but don't want to shell out £££ ordering them if it turns out that I can't stand them)

Cat/dog/kangaroo/horse/rat/tarantula/grubs(though I have probably inadvertantly eaten a weavil without realising)

Spam

kreecherlivesupstairs · 29/10/2010 11:51

Offal, I was force fed liver as a child. I did once try S+K pie but it tasted of wee.
Frogs, snails and brain.
Most fish, I loathe it.
I have eaten toast toppers and fray bentos pies and would eat both again. I've also eaten deep fried insects when drunk. I wouldn't bother with those, they catch on your clacker.

Faaamily · 29/10/2010 11:53

Fois Gras (vom)

Any horrific animal innards apart from kidney and liver a few times a sa child (shudder at the thought)

Fray Bentos, Faggots and gravy - most tinned meat things. Why would I?

JarethTheGoblinKing · 29/10/2010 11:54

kreecher - Clacker means something else entirely in my Sister's mind meaning your post has a slightly disturbing image attached to it Confused

ivykaty44 · 29/10/2010 11:57

jellied eels

I have tryed a lot of foods

burger king in HK tasted like 5* food after three weeks in china in the late 80's

MoonFaceMamaaaaargh · 29/10/2010 12:09

Raw oysters, whelks, snails because they all look like bogies (vom)

Would not eat cheap supermarket battery chicken or KFC either.

Jerusaelem artichokes (what is the point of them).

Have eaten alligator, brains, baby sparrow (feathers removed). [hgrin]

Meow75 · 29/10/2010 12:47

In addition to many already mentioned, that I shan't bore us all by repeating - the ultimate in vow possibilities - pigs trotters.

I don't care if they taste LUSH, they LOOK ugly, and thus I will never knowingly eat them.

Meow75 · 29/10/2010 12:49

vow possibilities

I definitely don't wanna marry the bloody things..

Meow75 wanders off muttering effing autocorrect grumpily!!!!

BelligerentGhoul · 29/10/2010 15:25

Beb - feta cheese is lovely: give it a try! :)

Wordsonascreen · 29/10/2010 15:27

a kebab (the late night kind .. I just shudder at how that thing stays on the pole and for how long...scrape scrape scrape)

kreecherlivesupstairs · 29/10/2010 15:32

Words. You are wise. I worked as a saturday girl (a long time since I was a girl) in the local kebab shop. The length of whatever it is wasn't put away at night and it oozed fat. It was just like a lard lolly.
