Aside from the obvious big ones like Home Alone/Love Actually/The Holiday/The Grinch etc.

It's just for me so it doesn't have to be kid friendly, though I don't like really scary stuff and I'd like an overall upbeat vibe to it. Nothing too cheesy and 'Hallmark' though! I enjoyed 'Christmas Eve', the characters all stuck in New York elevators on Christmas Eve, and 'The Nativity Story', about Mary and Joseph as they head to Bethlehem with Herod kicking off in the background.

Can you think of any more I might enjoy please? Bonus points if it's free with Prime or on Youtube as I no longer have Netflix.

Oooh yes , and Paul Kaye .
I watched it donkeys years ago , just looked , it was 2009 !

Wasn’t it good? I’d watch that every Christmas if I could.

I’ve just watched Noelle with Anna Kendrick (on Disney) & loved it. It’s akin to Elf - not quite as good but is worth watching.

Also love Last Christmas - all the Wham & George Michael music & brilliant cast!

Trading Places! It’s not a film that would be made today 😂 but it’s a good lighthearted comedy

DD made me watch "While You were Sleeping" yesterday - couldn't believe this was 1995 ! DH and I went to see it at the cinema then.

It is quite gentle , totally bonkers and set at Christmas .
