What is this film please?

Ok so a long shot but I remember watching a Tom Cruise film but can’t remember the name of the full story. Helpful, I know! Basically a load of people have to stay in this building that was like a warehouse sort of building. If they left they would be attacked. I can’t remember if it was by aliens or something. Anyway of course Tom Cruise would leave the building with a big gun to go and get supplies..... anyone know what it is called??

I’ve seen pretty much every Tom cruise film and that rings no bells. Are you sure you don’t mean the mist?

No not the mist although that looks good, thanks! I’m pretty sure it was Tom cruise... film would be about 10 year old I think. I know there’s not much to go on at all but all I really remember is the people have to stay inside this building/warehouse thing, they have a sort of mini hospital set up in there as people are injured. The main actor (who I think was Tom cruise) leaves the building with a black guy and they have guns and they hide behind burnt out cars etc trying to scavenge for food. I’m pretty sure it is aliens that are attacking them from the sky as they have some kind of vaporising lazer gun things.... vague, I know! I’ve been searching for months as I want to watch it again!!

Edge of tomorrow - they start out in a huge building (Heathrow) and they are fighting against aliens (mimics).

Sorry I can't place that Tom Cruise film. Skyline is a possibility.

No edge of tomorrow is live die repeat. I do love that film though. Not skyline but similar except I don’t remember physical aliens, just space ships shooting type thing.

It probably isn’t Tom cruise after all this it is definitely his type of film. I can’t remember any other things that would differentiate it to any other film though!! It is definitely set in a city for sure, not the desert or anything...

I havent seen the movie, but could it be Oblivion? Sounds like drones, aliens and scavenging is involved.

Noooooo no dream!! It was a really good film 🤣🤣 so good I don’t remember the name! It was definitely real! Even more frustrated now! At least I got a couple of new films to watch

Can u give a vague description of any of the other actors? Is that the only scene you remember?

That particular scene sounds almost exactly like one from the movie 'this is the end' with seth Rogan and jonah Hill, but I'm guessing you arent confusing them with Tom cruise😆

Erm I only remember who I thought was Tom cruise as the main actor and a black guy....there was a woman that had quite a role who was helping all the injured people. I’m sorry I know it was a long shot!!
