Ok so a long shot but I remember watching a Tom Cruise film but can’t remember the name of the full story. Helpful, I know! Basically a load of people have to stay in this building that was like a warehouse sort of building. If they left they would be attacked. I can’t remember if it was by aliens or something. Anyway of course Tom Cruise would leave the building with a big gun to go and get supplies..... anyone know what it is called??

I was going to suggest The Mist but I don't think they got shot at. The monsters were just 'there'

The plot of a film called The Last Days seems to be exactly what you're talking about but that's a Spanish film I think. Unless there was a remake?

I asked my brother who's the biggest movie buff I know. He said, 'oh I know that! Its not tom cruise, there's no a listers in it. Its quite obscure but I can't remember what it's called!' How annoying!!

You're sure they were Aliens not zombies? Sounds like the walking dead to me .

Just to clarify I ‘think’ it is a warehouse but I don’t know, it’s just a big building (high ceilings) line a warehouse. Thanks @yahyahs22 I was starting to feel like I was going crazy I will have a look at that @MorbidMuch

I'm loving how you thought it was Tom and some aliens and a warehouse but now it's not Tom Cruise and maybe not actual aliens and not a warehouse but a building with high ceilings.

Was it Pride and Prejudice? Pemberley has high ceilings and the sisters do hide from Mr Collins.

The main actor (ok so clearly now not Tom cruise) goes out of the building (that they are hankering down in and getting medical treatment) with another guy, the main actor has a big gun in his hand, I remember them trying to get into a car but I don’t remember if the cars worked, I don’t think they did, like all those type of films the alien forces manage to stop car engines working when they leave the building the area is wrecked, so broken smashed up cars and buildings etc and no one else is there as they are either dead or hiding....
