Ok so a long shot but I remember watching a Tom Cruise film but can’t remember the name of the full story. Helpful, I know! Basically a load of people have to stay in this building that was like a warehouse sort of building. If they left they would be attacked. I can’t remember if it was by aliens or something. Anyway of course Tom Cruise would leave the building with a big gun to go and get supplies..... anyone know what it is called??

I'm starting to wonder if its simply a YouTube video with the top 50 moments from horror movies or something.

This movie seems to be a splice of everything whilst simultaneously not being anything

With regards to pew pews, I can’t remember @iklboo... I don’t think you physically saw aliens, as in creatures, I think potentially just vehicles in the air above the city...

No definitely not you tube videos as I leave that to the kids I know it seems like a bit of every other film, that’s what is annoying me so much as someone suggests one, I google and and think ph sounds right.. then watch trailers and isn’t it! Feel like I should give up now!!

You 100% sure it's Tom Cruise? Your description did trigger a memory in me. But in this movie, Tom Cruise isn't the main character... he sort of co stars. Then I started thinking it could be I Am Legend, but saw that you know that movie. Hmm. I went onto Tom Cruise Wikipedia and it lists every single Cruise movie ever made. Couldn't work out Which one it could be though. Maybe you'd have better luck?
