I have watched A Grand Day Out with Wallace and Gromit soooo many times!

What has your child had on repeat?

Pretty much every film that has made it into the house on DVD.

It started with Kung-fu Panda and DS1. It continued with everything else.
Favourites are:
How to Train Your Dragon, 1 & 2 and all the tv series
The Croods
Madagascar 1, 2 and 3
Despicable Me 1, 2 and the Minions movie
Shrek, 1-4 and the short holiday ones
Ice Age 1-4 and the short holiday ones
Monsters vs Aliens, and the Hallowe'en one even more than the main film
Boxtrolls
Kung-fu Panda for the second time, also KFP 2 and Legends of Awesomeness

Pixars, less so, although we have seen Finding Nemo countless times, the Incredibles a few times less and all of the others too.
Despite only having 2 boys, we do have Frozen and Tangled, both popular; and some of the Tinkerbell movies, of which the Pirate fairy and the Neverbeast are the favourites.

There are many many more.
DS2 knows the script for the Croods, and for How to Train your Dragon...

They both like to watch a new film back to back about 3 times, given half a chance - total immersion, or something.

And yet some, I still haven't managed to watch the entire film - I seem to be able to zone them out...

Peppa pig all day long at the moment. With a bit of Paw patrol thrown in, for the 2 yr old. My 7 yr old son watches other people playing computer games on youtube! He has the means to play the game himself, but he'd rather watch someone else play, very strange!

HerdOfRhino · 09/03/2016 20:54

Thanks, angielou

A turtle's tale: Sammy's adventures.

Both me and DH would like the turtle to be eaten...

TheCrowFromBelow · 09/03/2016 20:59

Flumplet · 09/03/2016 21:01

Dd: how to train your dragon

Ds: discovered his first obsession just recently with The Lion King: The return of the roar

Southsearocks · 09/03/2016 21:26

BayLeaves · 09/03/2016 21:28

I used to watch the Disney film Hercules over and over again when I was little. I'd put in the video, watch it, rewind it and watch it again right away. Must've really annoyed my mum!

The Lorax. Or to give him his full name, The Fucking Lorax.

I quite like Ed Helms though, Danny DeVito is a legend and the story is great so it's not all bad.

My younger DSis watched videos of Mary Poppins and The Wizard of Oz on a loop most days as a child and I can't physically stand to watch either now.

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 09/03/2016 23:12

DD1 it was the toy story films and buzz lightyear film for at least a year every day. We even started putting it on in French for variety.. funny as the aliens do the oooo noise in a French accent Grin

Now I choose the films as left to their own devices its episodes on Netflix. Dd1 currently obsessed with pokemon and ever after high dd2 its paw patrol Smile

CheerfulYank · 09/03/2016 23:15

Home and the animated Robin Hood. I like both but am thoroughly sick of them.

They are grown now, but back in the day...

Home Alone. Not bad the first time...
Beethoven
Mouse Hunt

Before that, when DS was smaller, I was so pleased to find a video with 12 episodes of Thomas the Tank Engine to park DS in front of for DS to watch.

Each episode began with, and ended with, the Sodding Jangly Music.

Eventually I trained DS to wind through the music...

HerdOfRhino · 10/03/2016 23:33

Thanks again Smile

Cars. "life is a high way.."

Thomas the fucking tank

Nataleejah · 11/03/2016 05:35

Pacific Rim here. Family favourite.

Friendlystories · 11/03/2016 05:46

Brave, which could be a lot worse tbh, not a big Disney fan generally but it's actually not bad.

HerdOfRhino · 11/03/2016 21:14

Thomas the Tank Engine seems to be a popular choice Smile
