I have watched A Grand Day Out with Wallace and Gromit soooo many times!

What has your child had on repeat?

When Ds was younger it was
Thomas The bastard Tank Engine (even the bloody film the magic railroad)
Postman bastard Pat
Pingu god i hated that bloody penguin

Now at 23 its bloody Top Gear

MashesToPashes · 08/03/2016 18:08

Robots and Willow the Wisp. I still don't mind either though she's given up on them.

Elendon · 08/03/2016 18:13

Auntie Mabel and Pipin, taped from the programmes. The most watched film was The Lion King, Jurassic Park and Mulan.

My son loved Brum and Pingu.

Elendon · 08/03/2016 18:17

*films were

Isthereeverarightime1 · 08/03/2016 18:19

Toy story 1,2 & 3 but he doesn't watch anything else so I can grin and bear it Smile

itssnowjoke · 08/03/2016 18:20

Thomas Tank dvd
Cats and Dogs Movie

Sooo many times

itssnowjoke · 08/03/2016 18:21

Oh and Bob the Builder bloody live.

RoseDeWittBukater · 08/03/2016 18:21

DC1&2 not really. DC3 was anything Thomas, mainly misty island rescue. DC4 is all about monsters inc. over and over and over.

seafoodeatit · 08/03/2016 22:53

Lego movie, the minion movies and tangled on loop.

vladthedisorganised · 08/03/2016 23:59

BalloonSlayer I quite agree that Thomas and the Magic Railroad is the worst film ever made. I half expect Peter Fonda to sob "I was in EASY RIDER! I was the voice of a generation - and now THIS????" at some point: and isn't it a bit blatant that the characters inhale the 'magic dust' and go into a cocaine fuelled hallucination 'magic world'?

DH, who is extremely pro-recycling and anti-waste, insisted on the DVD going in the bin to prevent some poor sod paying money for it at the charity shop. DD is convinced that it may still be somewhere around the house.

How To Train Your Dragon was a much better bet.

RitaVinTease · 09/03/2016 00:00

Terminator and Alien Grin

I have watched World War Z, 28 Days and 28 weeks later endless times so I dont complain.

MattDillonsPants · 09/03/2016 02:35

God I don't watch DVDs with mine. I hate kids films. Not happening.

Jenijena · 09/03/2016 03:48

The Snowman and the Snowdog was the first obsession ('snowman doggie') but now it's Cars/Cars 2. But I'm fairly strict and films are only for rainy days when all other options have been exhausted, and the TV is never 'just put on' (either during the day or in the evening). An episode of Octonauts is currently a near daily occurrence though.

Igneococcus · 09/03/2016 04:11

Both DD, 11 and 8, are watching Song of the Sea a lot at the moment. It is a lovely movie tbf.

mathanxiety · 09/03/2016 04:18

The Lion King 2 (Thomas and the Magic Railroad is actually not the worst film ever made).
The Parent Trap with Lindsey Lohan.
Hairspray.

gruffaloshmuffalo · 09/03/2016 05:25

Cars, planes 1 and 2, Big Hero 6, Winnie the Pooh

LetTilikumGo · 09/03/2016 05:32

The Shaun the Sheep Movie.

sandgrown · 09/03/2016 05:47

The original Star Wars. When I went to see the latest one I was quite emotional to see the Millennium Falcon! Also the Goonies and The Never Ending Story .

MoonDuke · 09/03/2016 05:55

Am I the only one taking notes of what to buy? Grin

Aged 2 DS1 was obsessed with postman pat and button moon

Aged 3 it was cars 1&2 and planes

Aged 4 is now despicable 1&2 and minions. And the lego movie

Poor DS2 doesn't have a lot of say but he adores fireman sam and minions (he's nearly 2)

MoonDuke · 09/03/2016 05:56

We encourage Shaun the sheep which often works. And wallace and grommit

Xmasbaby11 · 09/03/2016 08:10

DDs are 2 and 4. They won't watch films so just watch the same episodes of the following

Abney and Teal
Peppa Pig
Topsy and Tim
Spot Bots

I wish they would watch a film!!!

lollyj84 · 09/03/2016 09:58

When Ds 1 (6) was 3 and i was on mat leave with Ds 2 he would watch cars 2 every pm after nursery. I can no longer bear it and i cringe when i hear Owen Wilsons voice.
Ds 2 (3) like postman pat

Namechangingbastard · 09/03/2016 10:00

Winnie the poohs grand adventure! Makes me all nostalgic when I see it now. still cry at the come and find me song

BertieBotts · 09/03/2016 12:51

Elendon He must be in his 20s now? Grin

InQuiteAPickle · 09/03/2016 12:51

Oh God, all sorts.

Payback for when I was little and I watched Oliver, Annie, Sleeping Beauty everyday for months.

I watched Oliver! So much that I wore out the tape.

My DDs have been obsessed with:

Alvin and The Chipmunks
Monsters Inc
Mrs Doubtfire
Spider-Man
Tangled
Princess and The Frog
Harry Potter

At the moment Spider-Man is on a lot and DD2 is really into Star Wars but she doesn't really ask to watch the films, I think it's more about the toys.
