Watched The Wedding Ringer last night. Crappy acting, naff predictable plot, yet I really enjoyed it. I laughed enough to make it worth watching and I think my brain just needed a break.

A Few years back MIL dragged me to the cinema to see "Confessions of a Shopaholic" - I wanted to stick pins in my eyes. She loved it. Still talks about it now.

I have a huge soft spot for Adam Levine! K Knightley gets my goat but I could tolerate her in that film.
Tribpot- glad you liked it. Talking of Sandra Bolleaux we must mention the one she's in with Viggo Mortensen in the addiction clinic. What's it called? Is it on Netflix?

noddingoff · 16/08/2015 19:00

Dodgeball. Also Happy Gilmore, which is probably Adam Sandler's best film so perhaps not shit.

scatterthenuns · 16/08/2015 19:02

I made DH watch Bring It On this week. He was so against it in theory, but bloody loved it - as do I! Grin

noddingoff · 16/08/2015 19:03

What was that one with the movie stars in the jungle? It was shit but had some good lines. I liked Zoolander and School of Rock too.

mrsruffallo · 16/08/2015 19:04

Was it JUngle fever?

mrsruffallo · 16/08/2015 19:10

No, Tropic Thunder

tribpot · 16/08/2015 19:18

The Sandra film you refer to is 28 Days, mrsruffallo. Alas not available on Netflix or Amazon Prime.

mrsruffallo · 16/08/2015 19:24

But I have just discovered they do have 'you can count on me' starring mr r. Have you seen it?

tribpot · 16/08/2015 19:26

I think I have seen it, but a long time ago. Will put it on the list!

StealthPolarBear · 16/08/2015 19:26

Hot tub time machine.
Sounds like a crap porno. Quite entertaining

Bostonpj · 16/08/2015 19:29

I love Begin Again - huge crush on Mark Ruffalo and agree with above about Adam Levine being a tosser!

My very embarrassing cheesy movie has got to be Burlesque! Grin

mrsruffallo · 16/08/2015 19:36

We definitely need to help each other out when it comes to Netflix films!

BabyGanoush · 16/08/2015 19:37

fivegomadindorset I came on here to say Snakes on a Plane too.

ThatBloodyWoman · 16/08/2015 21:19

A film called Wildflowers.
Its indulgent hippy crap and I love it.

ThatBloodyWoman · 16/08/2015 21:23

And I love Blue Crush and Blue Crush 2.
I'm a mature woman and should know better!

LoisWilkersonsLastNerve · 17/08/2015 14:24

Just watched Begin Again, I don't think it belongs on the 'shit but good' list! It was good! Smile

ALittleFaith · 23/08/2015 12:55

Ah, happy memories of watching terribly films!

I luff Grease 2 so much! So bad, it's good.

We had Sky Movies for a while and I saw the following multiple times: Maid in Manhattan, The Lizzy Macguire movie, What a girl wants, First daughter. All a bit pants but enjoyable.

I'd forgotten about Slap her, she's French! Grin Same actress (Piper Perabo) - Coyote Ugly, great soundtrack!

NotAllThoseWhoWanderAreLost · 25/08/2015 21:46

National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation - so bad but I love it, it's been a family Christmas tradition for years

I adore absolutely anything in the mutant animal genre -I have the entire Sharknado/Zombeavers/Snakes on a Plane/Piranha/Deep Blue Sea oeuvre on DVD, and ditto any terrible disaster movie a la Dante's Peak/2012 etc. Love 'em.

Bad chick flicks too - The Proposal, The Ugly Truth, Knocked Up, 27 Dresses, The Bounty Hunter, The Holiday... They're just so easy to watch.

Both Tremors and When Harry Met Sally are brilliant films though!
