Watched The Wedding Ringer last night. Crappy acting, naff predictable plot, yet I really enjoyed it. I laughed enough to make it worth watching and I think my brain just needed a break.

A Few years back MIL dragged me to the cinema to see "Confessions of a Shopaholic" - I wanted to stick pins in my eyes. She loved it. Still talks about it now.

Big Daddy, White Chicks and Deuce Bigalow, Male Gigolo.

I know. Trust me, I know.

thetroubleis · 29/07/2015 22:24

Snakes on a plane!

TheColdDoesBotherMeAnyway · 29/07/2015 22:24

Tremors! Dh refuses to watch it with me Sad

MustBeLoopy390 · 29/07/2015 22:25

Sharknado, black knight, mega shark vs giant octopus, ghost shark, Tokyo gore police, killer tomatoes, crappy sci-fi movies, snakes on a plane, deep blue sea, there are literally hundreds we've watched lol :)

NiceCardigan · 29/07/2015 22:29

Sharknado 3 - just ridiculous. The Hoff flying the space shuttle and Bo Derek looking quite scary. Oh and the sharks of course.

LeonardoAcropolis · 29/07/2015 22:30

I have just sat through, an enjoyed, Little Fockers.

Snakes on a Plane, Piranah 3DD, especially the 10 minute ending which was a David Hasslehoff love-in.

MsAdorabelleDearheartVonLipwig · 29/07/2015 23:52

I just had to watch Flight of the Living Dead. Just had to.

Anything like Sharknado, Megacroc, Deep Blue Sea, Fast & Furious, any of that shit, totally glued. Bizarre. Confused Grin

SmartAlecMetalGit · 30/07/2015 00:00

Suckerpunch. Misogynistic tripe but I absolutely love it, it's my guilty pleasure.

I also love a good shit disaster film like Dante's Peak, Asteroid or Poseidon.

MoonriseKingdom · 30/07/2015 04:28

I'm embarrassed to admit it but I got a strange pleasure at watching the unadulterated awfulness that is 'The Wicker Man' remake with Nicolas Cage. The original is of course a terrifying masterpiece. The remake involves a ridiculous storyline with a horrible anti feminist agenda. The acting is truly terrible terrible with Nicholas Cage at his overacting worst.

Nicholas Cage films divide neatly into brilliant and appalling and I think I find a lot of the pay check ones grippingly bad. i recently enjoyed his film 'Season of the Witch' on Netflix although I wouldn't admit to it in real life Blush

tadpole39 · 30/07/2015 05:45

Basket case. Saw it years ago, never forgot it, was on the other night. Don't snicker at the thing in the wicker!
The acting was so execrable that at one point a woman was still delivering her line after she had put the phone down!

MokunMokun · 30/07/2015 06:09

The cinematic classic that is Show Girls. I also like Love Actually for some reason. It's my go to Christmas film.

lastnightiwenttomanderley · 30/07/2015 06:16

Chalet Girl... love it on a cold/wet lazy afternoon!

derxa · 30/07/2015 06:20

National Lampoon films

chrome100 · 13/08/2015 11:34

I started watching High School Musical a few years ago as it came on one Christmas whilst I was comatose on the sofa. I really enjoyed it and downloaded the soundtrack.

WallyBantersJunkBox · 13/08/2015 11:40

Oh god yes to the Brady Bunch remake. Loved it. Blush
Also watched Jack and Jill with DS10 on Sunday. We were laughing so hard but I was wondering why...

Others:
Roadhouse
Robocop (original)
Judge Dredd (original)
Alien Nation
Sister Act
Deuce Bigalow male gigolo
Good Luck Chuck
The Ringer

I hid them behind my Tri Colour and Pedro Almodovar box sets GrinBlush

mrspremise · 15/08/2015 18:17

Popcorn. Fabulous schlock horror that I just adore; it was on the horror channel the other night and I was a very happy bunny

mrspremise · 15/08/2015 18:18

and Grease 2 is ace - Johnny Nogerelli!!

Badgerwife · 15/08/2015 18:30

The Holiday. It turns up every Christmas, and every year I find myself watching it ( I really like the Jude Law character Blush)

HolidayHeidi · 15/08/2015 18:36

I love the holiday.

notnowImreading · 15/08/2015 18:38

The Cutting Edge. Totally awful/brilliant figure skating film with DB Sweeney (90s hunk...sigh)

AnitaManeater · 15/08/2015 18:39

There was a truly awful film on C5 after Prince William and Kate got married. I can't remember what it was called, it was so cheesey but I loved every minute.

LaurieFairyCake · 15/08/2015 18:41

Horrible Bosses 1 and 2

I like them an embarrassing amount

GrouchyKiwi · 15/08/2015 18:53

I watched The Cutting Edge the other day, notnow. It was excellent. I hated Moira Kelly in The West Wing, but she was great in that.

You Again: a crap film starring Kristen Bell, Jamie Lee Curtis and Sigourney Weaver. It was fun.

I'll watch any disaster film going and love it. Ditto things like Sharktopus, Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus, etc.

I still haven't seen Sharknado. Sad

tribpot · 15/08/2015 19:05

The Prince and Me. Julia Stiles is fab.

I also liked I Give It A Year. And The Holiday. Oh, and Music and Lyrics, with the most tragic faux-Britney imaginable.

The Wedding Ringer and The Wedding Singer are not the same film, are they?

PersonalClown · 15/08/2015 19:08

I love a good shite film!
Doom-I won't have anything said against Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson. I luffs him.
Bring it On. Only the first and All or Nothing. I can't get into the others.
The Game Plan-see previous comments on Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson.
Princess Diaries
10 Things I Hate About You
Thor:The Dark World. Some slate it but it's got Tom Hiddleston so is an automatic winner for me.

I'm sure I'll remember more.
